James recorded 10 tackles (two solo) and two pass breakups, including one interception, in the Chargers' win over the Chiefs on Sunday. James played all 61 defensive snaps for Los Angeles, and his 10 tackles were the veteran safety's second-most in a game this season. He also recorded his second interception by picking off Gardner Minshew with 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for the Chargers. On the season, James has logged 80 tackles (41 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and six pass breakups, including the pair of interceptions, on 93 percent of the defensive snaps.

James recorded three tackles (three solo) during Monday's 22-19 win versus the Eagles. As has been the case for much of the year, James' contributions were felt more in coverage than on the stat sheet in Week 14, and quarterback Jalen Hurts finished the contest with four interceptions. He figures to spend plenty more time in coverage in a Week 15 matchup at Kansas City.

James sustained a head injury in the second quarter, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Monday's game. Tarheeb Still is slated for more defensive snaps in the secondary for as long as James is out of the game.

James finished Sunday's loss to Jacksonville with five tackles (two solo) and a defensed pass. James notched his first defensed pass since Week 6 and upped his tackle total after recording just three stops against Pittsburgh in Week 10. The veteran defensive back has posted 65 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, along with four defensed passes (including an interception) through 11 contests on the campaign.

James didn't have to do too much in a game in which the Steelers struggled to put together much of anything on offense, and the veteran safety failed to secure a solo tackle for the second time in three games. The 29-year-old has seen his production dip as the season has gone on, averaging 4.3 tackles per game after compiling 34 takedowns over the team's first four contests of the year. James has now registered 60 total tackles (33 solo), including 1.5 sacks, while also adding three passes defensed, one of which is an interception, over 10 games this season.
