Kelly (groin) got a tryout with the Chargers on Monday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. As a member of the Browns last season, Kelly suffered the groin injury during a Week 18 matchup with the Ravens. The running back also spent time on the Chargers' practice squad last December but did not appear in a game. Kelly last recorded a rushing yard in 2021 with Cleveland.

Kelly (groin) is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Ravens, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports. Kelly was hurt in the first quarter of Saturday's regular-season finale. Jacob Kibodi will serve as the Browns' backup running back behind D'Onta Foreman for as long as Kelly is sidelined.

The Chargers signed Kelly to their practice squad Monday. Kelly played in two games with Baltimore to begin the season, logging snaps only on special teams. He hasn't had an NFL snap since he rushed twice for 13 yards in 2021 with Cleveland. Kelly will serve as organizational depth at running back for Los Angeles with J.K. Dobbins (knee) on injured reserve, but the former may need one of Gus Edwards, Kimani Vidal or Hassan Haskins to miss time in order to be elevated for game day.

Kelly was cut from the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday. Kelly was elevated from Baltimore's practice squad to their active roster twice this season, handling kick return duties for the team. However, Deonte Harty has taken over that role since, leaving Kelly without much of a role. The Tennessee product will now have to search out a new opportunity.

Kelly reverted to Baltimore's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Kelly played five snaps during Sunday's 26-23 loss versus the Raiders, all on special teams. The Ravens will be able to elevate him from the practice squad just once more this season before he'd have to be added to the 53-man roster in order to suit up.
