Wilson is active for Monday's game against the Raiders. Wilson is past a calf injury that caused him to miss one regular-season game with the Bengals before being traded to the Cowboys in early November. With an extra week of practices under his belt courtesy of the Cowboys' Week 10 bye, Wilson should play a prominent role on defense alongside Shemar James and Kenneth Murray. Wilson posted 46 tackles (19 solo), four pass defenses and one fumble recovery across eight regular-season games with the Bengals prior to his trade.

The Cowboys acquired Wilson (calf) from the Bengals on Tuesday in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Wilson, who requested to be dealt last month after his snaps had decreased, is thus in line to move from one struggling defense to another. Once he moves past the calf issue that sidelined him in Week 9, the 29-year-old will provided a needed boost to the Cowboys linebacker corps. Wilson will be under contract through 2027 after signing a four-year, $36 million extension with the Bengals in July 2023. In eight games with the Bengals this season, Wilson has recorded 46 tackles, and he notched at least 100 stops in each of the previous four campaigns. With Dallas on bye in Week 10, Wilson will have added time to recover from his injury, as well as acclimate himself to his new team's defensive system.

Wilson (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears. Wilson's absence comes as little surprise after he was unable to practice this week due to the calf injury before being listed as doubtful heading into Sunday. Before succumbing to the injury, the veteran linebacker had seen his playing time get scaled back in each of the past three weeks while the Bengals opened up more snaps for rookies Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter. As a result of the drop in playing time, Wilson put in a request for a trade, and Dianna Russini of The Athletic relays that the Bengals have received inquiries from several teams regarding the 29-year-old's availability ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

Wilson (calf) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. The veteran linebacker from Wyoming didn't practice all week due to a calf injury and is now expected to miss his first game of the season Sunday. With both Wilson and Oren Burks (groin, questionable) dealing with injuries ahead of the Week 9 matchup, Joe Giles-Harris is expected to have a larger role in Cincinnati's inside-linebacker corps.

Wilson did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a calf injury, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. Wilson may have picked up the injury during the Bengals' Week 8 loss against the Jets, when he logged five tackles (two solo). However, his omission from Wednesday's practice could also be due to the trade request he made this past Thursday after seeing his playing time on defense dip significantly in Weeks 6 and 7. Wilson's practice participation over the next two days will be worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears.
