Swain (undisclosed) was let go from injured reserve with an injury settlement Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The wide receiver now has a chance to play in 2024 if he can catch on with another team. Swain spent the majority of the 2023 season on the Dolphins' practice squad. The 26-year-old caught 42 passes for 576 yards and six touchdowns with Seattle and Denver between 2020 and 2022.

The Bears signed Swain to a contract Monday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Swain spent time on the Dolphins' practice squad last season, but he hasn't played snaps in a game since 2022, when he suited up for three contests with Denver and one for Miami. The 2020 sixth-round pick will have his work cut out to compete for a depth role in Chicago's crowded receiver room.

Swain was cut by the Eagles on Sunday, Andrew DiCecco reports. Swain had just joined the team Wednesday after being let go by the Dolphins earlier in August. The Florida product will now have to work to find a new opportunity, likely on a team's practice squad after 53-man rosters are set.
