• Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Ties season high of 85 total yards

  Etienne rushed 14 times for 65 yards while catching four of five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 32-25 loss to the Jets. Etienne reclaimed the lead role from Tank Bigsby, finishing with an 18-11 edge in touches after being out-touched, 19-8, by Bigsby against the Titans in Week 14. The week-to-week fluctuations limit both running backs' upside heading into an otherwise favorable Week 16 matchup against the Raiders. Etienne's 85 scrimmage yards against the Jets tied the season high he set back in Week 3 against the Bills.

  Etienne scored 11.0 PPR points in Week 14 at Tennessee, which was the first time he scored more than 8.8 PPR points since Week 5. He had a season-high 50 receiving yards against the Titans, but his four carries were the fewest since Week 9. I would rather start Tank Bigsby if considering a Jaguars running back since he had 19 total touches against the Titans. But both Jaguars running backs are flex options at best against the Jets, who are No. 10 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.

  Etienne rushed the ball four times for 20 yards in Sunday's 10-6 win over the Titans. He added four receptions on four targets for 50 yards. Etienne saw his rushing role diminish significantly in Tank Bigsby's second game back from an ankle injury, and he was out-touched 19-8. That will make Etienne tough to trust moving forward for fantasy purposes, though he did show promise as a receiver. He finished third on the team with four targets and second in yardage -- highlighted by a 21-yard catch and run late in the first quarter.

  Etienne has scored 8.8 PPR points or less in five games in a row, and he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 2. He also just went over 50 total yards in Week 13 against Houston for the first time since Week 5. I wish we could rely on his role in the passing game, but Etienne only has six catches for 18 yards on six targets in his past two games, and this isn't a good matchup against the Titans. While Washington had success against Tennessee in Week 13, with Brian Robinson Jr. and Chris Rodriguez Jr. both scoring at least 15.4 PPR points, the Titans shut down J.K. Dobbins, Aaron Jones, and Joe Mixon in the previous three games, holding that trio to 9.5 PPR points or less in each outing. Etienne is a flex option at best in most leagues in Week 14.

  Etienne rushed 13 times for 46 yards and secured all three targets for 12 yards in the Jaguars' 23-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday. Etienne logged six more carries than backfield mate Tank Bigsby but couldn't muster any remarkable production against a typically stingy Texans run defense. The fourth-year back also was a modest contributor through the air while posting his second straight three-catch tally, but the outlook for all of the Jaguars' skill-position players will take at least a slight hit in a Week 14 road matchup against the Titans with Mac Jones likely filling in for Trevor Lawrence (concussion) in that contest.
