• Adrian Colbert: Signs with Chicago

  Colbert was signed to the Bears' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Colbert suffered an undisclosed injury in August and was eventually released by the Bears, but he will now return to the team. He played in two games with Chicago last season, failing to record any stats while playing 20 special-teams snaps.

  Colbert landed on the Bears' injured reserve Monday with an undisclosed injury There is no word on the nature of Colbert's injury at this point in time. Prior to his placement on IR, he was competing for a role providing depth in Chicago's secondary.   Colbert was released by the Jets Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Colbert hasn't played with the Jets since suffering a concussion in their Week 4 win over the Titans. The fifth-year pro has already played for four different teams in his career and will now likely be looking for his fifth. Colbert has 16 tackles (10 solo) while playing 151 defensive snaps across four games this season.

  Colbert (concussion) is out Sunday against the Falcons, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Colbert won't travel with the team to London after suffering a concussion in the middle of the Jets' Week 4 matchup against Tennessee. He has been a key part of the team's secondary to this point, logging over a 50 percent snap rate in two of the three games in which he's been fully healthy. Colbert has logged 16 total tackles through four contests.

Colbert has been elevated from the practice squad before each game this season and has registered eight total tackles.
