Jones (shoulder) is ready to get back on the field during OTAs, Danny Jaillet of USA Today reports. Jones suffered a torn labrum in Week 2 last season and then spent the rest of the 2023 campaign on injured reserve. His ability to return to the field, and be ready for the 2024 campaign is great news for New England, who dealt with multiple injuries in their secondary last year.

Jones will miss at least four contests due to a torn labrum sustained Week 2 versus the Dolphins, though the nature of his injury could result in a longer absence. Until the rookie third-round pick is able to return, Shaun Wade and Myles Bryant will stand to handle expanded roles on defense.
