Barring any setbacks, expect Bernard to return to his usual starting role at cornerback versus the Browns on Sunday.

Bernard (elbow) was limited in Wednesday's walk-through practice. Bernard wasn't able to practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Buffalo's win over the Patriots in Week 15, so he's healthier to begin preparations for Sunday's road game against the Browns. If Bernard is able to get back on the field versus Cleveland, he'll be a fringe fantasy asset in IDP formats.

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Friday that Bernard (elbow) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the Bengals, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports. The fourth-year pro from Baylor opened the Bills' week of practice with consecutive DNPs, so it's no surprise that he'll miss his second game in a row Sunday. While Bernard is sidelined in Week 14, Shaq Thompson is expected to operate as the Bills' top middle linebacker.
