Jones agreed to terms Thursday on a three-year contract extension with the Ravens, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Jones has been a reliable contributor along Baltimore's defensive front this year, with 34 tackles (16 solo), including 1.5 sacks, plus two passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 13 regular-season appearances. The 2022 third-round pick is now positioned to stick with the team through the 2028 campaign.

Jones finished with six tackles (one solo), a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in Thursday's 32-14 loss to the Bengals. The defensive tackle stripped the ball and fell on it himself as the Ravens tried to keep themselves alive for a late comeback. Jones also played on more half of the defensive snaps for the 10th time in his 11 games this season. He has 33 tackles (15 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups on the year.

Jones (ankle) does not have an injury designation ahead of Thursday's game against the Bengals. Jones played his normal snap count in Sunday's win over the Jets but appeared on the injury report Monday. He logged a limited practice session Tuesday before ramping up to estimated full participation Wednesday. Jones will be ready to suit up Thursday against the Bengals.
