  Flowers is off to a solid start this season with 21 targets in two games against Kansas City and Las Vegas, and he has 13 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown over that span while averaging 16.6 PPR points per game. This game has the potential to be a shootout with a projected score of 48.5, and Flowers would be in a great spot if the Ravens are chasing points and struggling to run the ball. I like Flowers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  Flowers brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Flowers' line looked like that of a No. 1 receiver in a victory, as the second-year wideout continued to look the part while recording team highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. However, the Ravens went on to blow a 10-point lead in the second half, which had been established with Flowers' eight-yard touchdown grab early in the fourth quarter. Despite the disappointing outcome, Flowers' fantasy stock is strong heading into a Week 3 road showdown against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  It was great to see Flowers get 10 targets in Week 1 at Kansas City, and he had six catches for 37 yards. I'm hoping for a similar amount of targets in Week 2 against the Raiders but with a better stat line, especially the yards. In his past five home games going back to last year, including the playoffs, Flowers has scored at least 18 PPR points in three of them, so hopefully, he stays hot at home in Week 2. I like Flowers as a high-end No. 3 receiver in all leagues.

• Ravens' Zay Flowers: Stays busy in Week 1 loss

  Flowers secured six of 10 targets for 37 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night. Flowers was the runner-up in both receptions and targets on the night for the Ravens, although the overwhelming majority of his catches were very close to the line of scrimmage. The second-year wideout did look explosive with the ball in his hands and ready to resume or even expand the robust role he enjoyed as a rookie in 2023, when he logged 85 touches across 16 regular-season games and another 11 in two playoff contests. Flowers will aim to up his efficiency at the expense of the Raiders in a Week 2 home battle on Sunday, Sept. 15.

• Ravens' Zay Flowers: Not likely to play Saturday

  Head coach John Harbaugh suggested Wednesday that Flowers and other key starters aren't likely to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Flowers was among the team's starters not to see action in this past Friday's exhibition opener against the Eagles, and he doesn't look on track to play any snaps this weekend, either. As the coming season approaches, Flowers is slated to start alongside fellow wideout Rashod Bateman, a role that should allow the second-year pro to see steady targets from quarterback Lamar Jackson. As a rookie, Flowers compiled a 77-858-5 receiving line across 16 games, numbers that he'll have a good chance to eclipse provided he can stay healthy in 2024.
