  • Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Thursday on 105.7 The Fan that Baltimore "definitely" wants to ink Flowers to a contract extension before the start of the 2026 regular season, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports. The Ravens already picked up Flowers' fifth-year option, keeping him under contract through 2027 while giving both sides time to work out an extension. Flowers has also made clear he wants to remain with Baltimore long term, so a deal appears more a matter of timing than interest. Flowers is solidified as the No. 1 receiving option for quarterback Lamar Jackson and posted a career-best 86-1,215-5 line in 2025 while playing in all 17 regular-season games.

  • Flowers will enter training camp ready to reprise his role as Baltimore's No. 1 wide receiver and the top target of quarterback Lamar Jackson, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports. Flowers is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons and is entrenched atop a depth chart that has plenty of uncertainty behind him. Rashod Bateman (personal) is expected to start opposite Flowers after an injury-shortened 2025 campaign, while Devontez Walker and rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt will compete for the No. 3 job. That leaves Flowers positioned for another high-volume season under new head coach Jesse Minter, and he could challenge the franchise's single-season receiving yardage record of 1,361, which tight end Mark Andrews set in 2021. Flowers posted a career-best 86-1,211-5 receiving line on 118 targets while playing all 17 regular-season games in 2025, and he and Andrews could both benefit from more volume after the departure of Isaiah Likely in free agency.

  • The Ravens exercised Flowers' $27.3 million team option for the 2027 season Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Picking up Flowers' fifth-year option was viewed as a formality for the Ravens, after the 25-year-old led Baltimore in receptions and receiving yards in each of his three seasons since entering the NFL as a first-round selection out of Boston College in 2023. Though Flowers will be on the books for the next two seasons, the Ravens are expected to initiate talks with the wideout on a contract extension over the next few months. Flowers will be locked in as Baltimore's clear top target heading into the upcoming campaign and could have a chance at building on the career-best 86-1,211-5 receiving line he produced in 2025 after the Ravens let Isaiah Likely walk in free agency and have thus far not brought in any major reinforcements at receiver or tight end.

  • Flowers brought in four of six targets for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Steelers. Flowers waited until Week 18 to produce his finest fantasy performance of the season. The 24-year-old popped off for 138 yards while scoring multiple touchdowns in a game for the first time in 2025. The Boston College product set new career highs in receptions (86) and receiving yards (1,211) this year, and his recent scoring binge (five TDs over last four games) helped him tie the six touchdowns he scored in his rookie campaign. Flowers will enter the final year of his rookie contract operating as the Ravens' top wideout, a role that should provide plenty of upside for fantasy managers in 2026.

  • Flowers recorded four receptions on five targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 41-24 win over the Packers. The Ravens took to the air only 20 times and limited most of those attempts to short areas of the field. That held back all of their pass catchers, though Flowers made the most of his opportunity to lead the team in receptions and yards. He also found the end zone for the third straight game after making a 10-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter.
