  • Johnson didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Vikings. Johnson was a non-factor as Jaxson Dart threw for just 33 yards. Prior to Sunday's goose egg, Johnson had caught at least three passes in eight consecutive games. Johnson will likely be more involved if the Giants turn to a more balanced approach in Week 17 against the Raiders after this run-heavy loss.

Johnson has scored at least 10.2 PPR points in four of his past six games coming into Week 16 against Minnesota, but this is a tough matchup for him against the Vikings. Minnesota hasn't allowed a tight end to score a touchdown in the past five games, and no tight end has scored double digits in PPR against the Vikings over that span. Johnson is only worth starting in deeper leagues in Week 16.

  • Johnson had three catches for 72 yards on four targets in Week 15 against Washington, and he has now scored at least 10.2 PPR points in four of his past six games. He doesn't have an easy matchup in Week 16 against Minnesota, but I still like Johnson as a low-end starter in all leagues. Jaxson Dart and Johnson have a solid rapport, and Johnson has 12 targets in his past two games with Dart under center.

  • Johnson caught three of four targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders. The second-year tight end led the Giants in receiving yards on the day, as he topped 70 yards for the third time in the last five games. Johnson is quietly having a breakout campaign despite the struggles of the rest of the team, putting together a 45-528-5 line on 72 targets through 14 contests. He'll look to keep rolling in a Week 16 clash with the Vikings.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleeper TEs
    By Jamey Eisenberg

Johnson had eight targets in his last game against New England in Week 13, and he has at least 10.7 PPR points in three of his past five outings. This week, Johnson has a great matchup against the Commanders, who are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Eight tight ends have scored at least 9.2 PPR points against Washington in the past seven games, with seven touchdowns, and Johnson should be considered a low-end starter in all leagues in Week 15.
