  • Eagles' Jalen Carter: Impresses in Week 7
    By RotoWire

Carter recorded four total tackles (three solo), including 2.0 sacks, in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants. Carter played a season high 96 percent of the Eagles' defensive snaps in Week 7 and it led to his best performance of the season, sacking Daniel Jones in the second and third quarters of Sunday's win. The 2023 first-round pick out of Georgia has now tallied 14 total tackles, including 6.0 sacks, and three passes defended through Philadelphia's first six games. Expect Carter to continue serving as the Eagles' top interior defensive lineman as the team travels to Cincinnati in Week 8.

  • Eagles' Jalen Carter: Could play Week 9
    By RotoWire

Carter (back), who left Sunday's 38-31 win over the Commanders, could be available for Week 9 against the Cowboys, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Carter left Sunday's game with one tackle and did not return. He got some testing done after the game and the results were good enough -- according to McLane -- for Carter to have a chance of playing in Week 9. His practice participation over the week will shed further light on what direction he's trending ahead of the divisional showdown.

  • Carter (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus Miami. Carter was forced to sit out of Week 6 at the Jets with an ankle injury, but it looks like he'll be able to play through it in Week 7. He should start next to Fletcher Cox on Sunday versus the Dolphins.

  • Eagles' Jalen Carter: Could miss Week 6
    By RotoWire

Eagles head coach Nick Sirriani said Friday that Carter sustained an ankle injury during practice and that he doesn't think the issue will "keep him out very long," Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports. That being said, Sirriani wouldn't commit to the rookie defensive tackle being available Sunday at the Jets. Philadelphia will release its final Week 6 injury report later Friday, which will clarify whether Carter carries a questionable or doubtful tag into Sunday's contest or is ruled out.

  • Carter (ankle) did not participate at practice Thursday. Carter practiced in full to start the week Wednesday, so he presumably picked up the ankle issue during practice. If he can't get back onto the practice field Friday, he may be in danger of missing Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Jets.
