• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Fifth-year option exercised

  The Falcons picked up the fifth-year option of Robinson's rookie contract Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The transaction keeps Robinson under contract through 2027 and provides Atlanta more time to negotiate a potential long-term extension, so it's little surprise to see the team pick up the 2023 first-round pick's fifth-year option. Robinson has compiled back-to-back years with over 1,400 rushing yards, and in 2025 he added a 79-829-4 receiving line (104 targets) while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games. The star running back also had seven rushing scores and a career-high 5.1 YPC mark in 2025. Even given the uncertainty surrounding Atlanta's offense -- there's a QB battle between Michael Penix (knee) and Tua Tagovailoa looming this offseason, and the surprise retirement of RT Kaleb McGary (leg) has prompted the team to sign Jawaan Taylor -- Robinson is firmly in the mix for consideration as not only the top RB off the board in 2026 fantasy drafts, but as the No.1 overall selection.

  Robinson rushed 15 times for 33 yards and brought in all three targets for 10 yards in the Falcons' 19-17 win over the Saints on Sunday. Fresh off a memorable 195-yard effort on the ground against the Rams on Monday night, Robinson was stonewalled -- albeit while having a rushing touchdown called back due to an offensive holding penalty -- by a Saints defense that had frequently been vulnerable to the run over the course of the season. Robinson's yardage tally on the ground was his lowest since Week 8, but despite Sunday's downturn, the 2023 first-round pick finished the 2025 campaign with a career-high 1,478 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns and a career-best 79-820-4 receiving line while playing in all 17 games for the second consecutive season.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Record-filled effort in upset win

  Robinson rushed 22 times for 195 yards and a touchdown and brought in five of eight targets for 34 yards and another score in the Falcons' 27-24 win over the Rams on Monday night. It was truly a night for the ages for Robinson, who provided some luster to a non-playoff season for the Falcons with a career-best effort in the penultimate game of the campaign. Not only was Robinson's rushing yardage total a new single-game career high, the 93-yard touchdown scamper late in the first half that was integral in getting him there was also the longest run in franchise history. Robinson also extended his streak of recording at least five catches to three games while tallying a receiving TD for the second consecutive contest. Additionally, his production on the ground leaves him just 12 yards short of eclipsing the 1,456 rushing yards he posted last season as the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Saints approaches Sunday.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Nearly 200 yards in loss to Jets

  Robinson rushed 23 times for 142 yards and a touchdown while catching five of seven targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Jets. Robinson posted his second-highest total of the season with 193 scrimmage yards. He was stopped for no gain on first-and-goal from the one-yard line late in the first half and watched Tyler Allgeier power in a game-tying one-yard touchdown on the next play. Bijan produced a rushing touchdown of his own with a five-yard scoring run in the third quarter, but it was only his fifth touchdown run of the season compared to Allgeier's eight. Robinson has produced at least 107 scrimmage yards in three consecutive games and in eight of 12 games overall heading into a Week 14 home game against Seattle's stout run defense.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Gains over 100 yards from scrimmage

  Robinson took 14 carries for 70 yards while corralling both of his targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 24-10 win over New Orleans. Robinson failed to replicate last week's two-score effort against the Panthers, but he stayed above the century mark in total yards with an efficient day as both a runner and receiver. Backfield mate Tyler Allgeier garnered 13 touches, but his production was dwarfed by Atlanta's starter after finishing with just 49 yards from scrimmage. Robinson's success with QB Kirk Cousins under center Sunday helped quell concerns from fantasy managers regarding a potential dip in production after Michael Penix (knee) was placed on injured reserve this past week. Robinson should continue to be treated as an RB1 in fantasy for next Sunday's favorable matchup against the Jets.
