  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: Makes two field goals in win

Gay made two of three field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Buccaneers.

Gay's miss came from 58 yards out and hit the left upright to end the first half. It was his second miss from 50-plus yards on the season in 10 attempts. He was, however, able to connect from 46 and 36 yards while also making all three PATs. The Utah product is now 19-for-23 on FGAs this season and has yet to miss an extra-point attempt in 28 tries. Next up for Gay and the Colts is a Week 13 divisional matchup with the Titans.

  • Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Misses 30-yard attempt Sunday

Carlson converted one of two field-goal attempts and added a pair of extra points in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Carlson's 30-yard FG attempt in the first quarter sailed wide right, his first miss since Week 7 before rebounding with a 34-yard make in the second half. He'll look to bounce back from the five-point effort when the Raiders return from their bye against the Vikings in Week 14.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Makes both FGA

Hopkins converted both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 29-12 loss to the Broncos in Week 12.

Hopkins was perfect for a third consecutive week, calmly finishing off drives with kicks from 36 and 24 yards. Sunday's game was his seventh straight with multiple field goals made. The Browns offense has been spotty all season, particularly when backup quarterbacks are on the field, resulting in a league-leading 31 attempts in 2023. As such, Hopkins remains a legit fantasy kicker and is tied for the lead in placekicker points with 99.

  • Giants' Randy Bullock: Belts game-winning field goal

Bullock made his only field-goal attempt from 42 yards out and converted his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 10-7 win against New England in Week 12.

Scoring was at a minimum in the contest, and Bullock's 42-yard field goal with 8:10 remaining in the fourth quarter ended up providing the winning margin for the Giants. The Patriots had a chance to tie the game late in the period, but Chad Ryland missed a chip-shot 35-yard field goal with just six seconds on the clock. Though Bullock hasn't been tasked with much work since taking over for Graham Gano (knee) as the team's kicker in Week 9, he's yet to miss a kick, making all three of his field-goal tries and all seven of his extra-point attempts.

  • Texans' Matt Ammendola: Misses two from long distance

Ammendola missed both of his field-goal attempts and made three of three extra-point kicks in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Jaguars in Week 12.

Two missed field goals in a one-score game loom large, although each were from deep. Ammendola was wide right from the 50 near the end of the first half, then hit the crossbar on an attempt to the tie the game from 58 yards out with 29 seconds left. Ammendola, who is filling in for Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps), has missed his last three FGA.

  • Blake Grupe K | IND

Saints' Blake Grupe: Logs six field-goal tries Week 12

Grupe connected on five of six field-goal attempts during Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Falcons.

Grupe logged a career-high six field-goal attempts in this injury-ridden outing for New Orleans' offense. With this unit unable to come through with touchdowns while in opposing territory, the team relied on its undrafted rookie kicker to hang in the game. Grupe's was perfect on his first five field-goal tries, which ranged from 25 to 52 yards. But, he came up short on a 54-yard attempt with just under 30 seconds remaining, thus ending his team's slim chances for a comeback win. Grupe has now hit 24 of the first 30 field-goal tries of his career, and all six of his misses have come on attempts of 40 or more yards.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: No FG attempts again

Zuerlein didn't attempt a field goal and converted one of two PATs in Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins.

After benching Zach Wilson in favor of Tim Boyle during the previous game, the Jets' struggling offense looked no better in Boyle's first start of 2023. At least Wilson usually got the team in field-goal range a few times per game; Boyle didn't lead the offense into Miami territory until the fourth quarter. Zuerlein hasn't attempted a field goal over the past two games.

  • Jake Moody K | WAS

49ers' Jake Moody: Converts all attempts Thursday

Moody made his only field-goal attempt from 32 yards out and went 4-for-4 on point-after tries in Thursday's 31-13 win over Seattle.

Moody barely broke a sweat on his five kicks Thursday, as his only field-goal attempt wound up being a shorter kick than his four successful PATs. The end result was another clean outing for the rookie, who has converted 85 percent of his field goals (17-for-20) and all 37 of his extra-point attempts through 11 games this season. Moody will be one of the new faces introduced to a developing rivalry between NFC powerhouses when the 49ers visit the Eagles on Dec. 3.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYG

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Cleared to play

Koo (back) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against New Orleans, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Koo has played every game this season and missed just one field-goal attempt and one PAT. That he has far more of the former (22) than the latter (15) is a testament both to Koo's reliability and the Falcons' dysfunction on offense. The team is going back to Desmond Ridder under center after a bye, playing at home against the Saints in a game whose winner will reside in first place in the NFC South.

  • Packers' Anders Carlson: Another so-so showing

Carlson made one of two field-goal attempts and two of three extra-point tries in Thursday's 29-22 victory over the Lions.

Carlson matched his Week 11 marks in terms of makes and attempts, though he did hit a field goal from beyond 40 yards this time around. As Green Bay's playoff chances rise, the odds they look at another kicker do as well. However, there has still been no indication they are considering a change. Regardless, fantasy players shouldn't expect much scoring from Carlson in Week 13, as Green Bay will take on a Kansas City team that limits opposing kickers as well as anyone.
