  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Perfect in Thursday night win

McPherson converted on both of his field-goal attempts and all three of his point-after tries during Cincinnati's 27-15 win versus Miami on Thursday.

McPherson made a chip shot to take the lead with 12 minutes remaining in the game and then nailed a 57-yarder to extend that lead to five points with six minutes to play. He continues to generate returns in leagues that reward long field goals, as he's 6-for-7 on field-goal tries of 40-plus yards through four games this season after converting on 15 of 20 such tries in 2021. "McFrosty" remains one of the NFL's premier kickers heading into a Week 5 matchup at Baltimore, though it might be worthwhile for fantasy managers to keep an eye on the weather report ahead of that game.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Not present at practice Friday

Butker (ankle) was not spotted during Friday's practice, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

Butker has been sidelined for back-to-back games due to a sprained left ankle, and while he returned to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday, he's since missed back-to-back sessions. Special-teams coordinator Dave Toub suggested Thursday that Butker's status for Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay would be a real game-time decision, so his availability likely won't be known until closer to Sunday's 8:20 PM ET kickoff.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Good on three of four kicks

Sanders converted three of four field-goal attempts and missed his only extra-point try during Thursday's 27-15 loss to the Bengals.

Sanders' only missed field-goal try came from 50-plus yards out and with significant wind, but it was good to see him receive increased opportunities. In Miami's previous two games, Sanders had been limited to just extra-point conversions. The Dolphins are looking ahead to a divisional matchup against the Jets in Week 5.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Status in question for Week 4

Butker (ankle) won't practice Thursday, and special teams coordinator Dave Toub suggested the kicker's status for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers could "come down right to the end" of the week, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out both of the Chiefs' past two games with a sprained left ankle, Butker practiced Wednesday in a limited fashion, but he was held out Thursday while still contending with some soreness. The Chiefs will see if Butker is able to get back on the practice field in some capacity Friday before giving him a designation for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. If Butker is forced to miss another game, Matthew Wright would likely be elevated from the practice squad to handle kicking duties for Kansas City in Week 4.

  • Matthew Wright: Secures practice squad deal

Wright was signed to the Chiefs' practice squad Tuesday, Charles Goldman of USA Today reports.

Wright was added by Kansas City, as starting kicker Harrison Butker, who returned to practice Wednesday, is still working his way back from an ankle injury suffered in Week 1. The practice-squad kicker went 34-of-39 on total kicking attempts over 14 games with Jacksonville last season, so he will provide a reliable backup option if Butker sits out once again this Sunday against the Buccaneers.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

    Cardinals' Matt Prater: Limited Wednesday

Prater was limited during Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Prater made all four of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's win over the Rams, but he appears to have picked up a hip injury as well. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but he'll have two more opportunities to practice before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Week 4.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Practicing Wednesday

Butker (ankle) is set to practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Butker was unable to practice last week before missing his second straight game, but his return to work Wednesday offers encouragement that he'll be able to kick this weekend against the Buccaneers in the absence of any setbacks. If Butker isn't ready to play Week 4, Matthew Wright is a candidate to be elevated from Kansas City's practice squad to handle kicking duties.

  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Cowboys' Brett Maher: Scores double digits

Maher made three of his four field-goal attempts as well as his only extra-point try in Monday night's 23-16 win over the Giants.

Maher converted from 26, 28 and 44 yards on his three field goals, with his lone miss coming from 59 yards as the first half expired. He now sports 22 points through three games.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Misses field goal

McManus made one of his two field-goal attempts and did not have any extra-point tries in Sunday night's 11-10 win over the 49ers.

McManus drilled a 55-yard field goal on his first kick, but he went wide right from 53 yards on his second attempt. Through three games, he now sports 23 points, tying him for 10th league-wide at his position.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Hits double figures

Prater made all four of his field-goal attempts but didn't have any extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Rams.

Prater converted from 23, 43, 49 and 31 yards, resulting in a 12-point outing after he scored just one point in both of the first two weeks.
