  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Cowboys' Brett Maher: Tallies five points

Maher missed one of his two field-goal attempts and made both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Redskins.

Maher hit the left upright on a 52-yard attempt as time expired, erasing Dallas' hopes of heading into overtime. Prior to that letdown, he hit a 47-yarder during the fourth quarter. Through seven games, he's been pretty reliable, missing just two of 30 total kicking attempts.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Scores nine points

McManus made his only field-goal attempt and all six of his extra-point tries in Week 7 versus the Cardinals.

McManus' lone field goal came from 41 yards. His nine points tied his season-high mark, and he's yet to miss any of his 29 total kicking attempts.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Misses first field goal of 2018

Butker knocked home one of his two field-goal attempts Sunday against the Bengals, but he also added six successful extra-point attempts.

Butker went a perfect 11-for-11 on field goals in the first six weeks of the season, but he finally misfired to the left on a field goal from 53 yards out. He's still perfect on extra points this season and should remain one of the valuable kickers in the league given the explosiveness of the Chiefs' offense.

  • Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Steps in as team's new kicker

Carlson agreed to a contract Tuesday with the Raiders, Matt Schneidman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Carlson will get his chance at redemption with the Raiders after he was cut by the Vikings following their Week 2 tie with the Packers. During that contest, Carlson missed all three of his field-goal tries, including two potential game-winners in overtime. The Vikings saw enough in the three-time second-team All-American to select him in the fifth round in April's draft, so Carlson at least offers some theoretical upside based on pedigree even if his limited NFL experience to date has been disappointing. Carlson will replace Matt McCrane, who was cut by Oakland in a corresponding move after converting only five of nine field-goal attempts over three games as the team's kicker.

  • Falcons' Giorgio Tavecchio: Goes 3-for-3 in Falcons debut

Tavecchio connected on field-goal tries from 40, 50 and 56 yards out during Monday's 23-20 win against the Giants.

Just as he did last week, head coach Dan Quinn put his kicker in a high-pressure situation in the waning moments of a one-possession game. And once again, his kicker delivered in spades. In Week 6, it was Matt Bryant who connected on a 57-yard attempt with 1:10 left in the fourth quarter to help Atlanta put a much-needed interdivisional win on ice against Tampa Bay (Bryant injured his hamstring on the play). In another tight game against the Giants, the recently signed Tavecchio nailed a 56-yard try to push Atlanta's lead to two possessions with under two minutes to go. Whether it be Tavecchio or Bryant kicking for Atlanta in the team's next game against Washington on Nov. 4, expectations should be tempered somewhat facing a Redskins defense that has struggled to hold opponents to field goals this year (seventh worst red-zone defense in the NFL).

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Panthers' Graham Gano: Misses extra point

Gano did not attempt a field goal but missed one of his two extra-point tries in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Eagles.

Gano's one point marked a season low and came thanks to him missing an extra point for the second straight game. Following his triumphant 15-point outing in Week 5, Gano has turned in two underwhelming performances, providing motivation ahead of this Sunday's home game versus the Ravens.

  • Greg Joseph K | LV

Browns' Greg Joseph: No field goals in Week 7

Joseph didn't attempt a field goal but made all three of his extra points during Sunday's 26-23 loss to Tampa Bay.

Joseph has just three field goals over his last three games. as scoring opportunities have eluded him and the Browns. The rookie kicker is eight of nine on field goals in five games this season.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Nails game-sealing FG from 50 yards

Prater converted all four of his field-goal attempts and each of his PATs during Sunday's 32-21 victory over the Dolphins.

Already having converted three field goals of 35 yards or less, Prater -- with the Lions up eight points with barely over two minutes remaining in regulation -- put the game away for good on a gutsy 50-yard boot that showed the level of trust the Detroit coaching staff has in the veteran kicker. Through the first six games of the season, Prater and the Lions now rank third in the league with an elite 2.7 field-goal attempts per outing. Look for him to stay productive in Week 8, when Detroit hosts a Seattle defense that has allowed opposing offenses to score a touchdown on less than 60 percent of possessions in 2018.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Misses only attempt

Sanders missed his only field-goal attempt and converted all three extra-point tries during the Dolphins' 32-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Sanders missed his first field goal of the season in Week 7, having converted his prior six attempts. Despite his accuracy, Sanders does not receive the necessary volume to warrant fantasy consideration outside of deeper leagues.

  • Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Perfect in return to action

Zuerlein hit all three of his field-goal attempts and each of his four extra-point kicks during Sunday's 39-10 win over San Francisco.

These were Zuerlein's first kicks since Week 1 after missing five games with a groin injury, so it's encouraging to see him finish the day in perfect fashion. Now that he's healthy, Zuerlein projects to return high-end numbers for fantasy owners. The Rams are leading the NFL in yards per game and rank third in scoring, so it's a cushy set-up for the veteran kicker.
