  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Texans' Tyrod Taylor: Could have torn ligaments

Taylor is believed to have suffered torn ligaments in his non-throwing wrist, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Taylor will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury that forced him out of Sunday's blowout loss to the Colts, but if he's indeed suffered torn ligaments, the veteran will be in real danger of missing time. Rookie third-round pick Davis Mills would stand to slot into the starting lineup versus Seattle in Week 14 if Taylor can't go.

  • Bears' Justin Fields: Availability for Week 14 uncertain

Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that a decision about the availability of Fields (ribs) for Week 14 will be an "ongoing discussion," Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Nagy noted that Fields' ability to play will come down to pain tolerance, per Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago. He also said the Bears "won't put [Fields] at risk medically," perhaps hinting that the team will take a cautious approach with the rookie's recovery. If Fields ends up missing another contest while recovering from fractured ribs, Andy Dalton will be called upon again to head Chicago's offense during Sunday's upcoming divisional matchup against the Packers.

Texans' Tyrod Taylor: No starter chosen for Week 14

Taylor (wrist) hasn't yet been ruled out for Week 14 against the Seahawks, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official site reports.

Taylor was replaced by Davis Mills during Sunday's blowout loss to the Colts after suffering a possible hyperextension of his wrist. Per Sidhu, Taylor will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injury. A final decision on the Week 14 starter won't be made until the results of Taylor's MRI are available, and perhaps not until the Texans have had a chance to evaluate the veteran at practice.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Looks set for another absence

Jones (neck) is considered likely to miss the Giants' Week 14 game against the Chargers, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.tv reports.

Jones missed Sunday's 20-9 loss against the Dolphins due to a neck injury serious enough that head coach Joe Judge refused to rule out the possibility of it being season-ending. Prior reports have labeled Jones as week-to-week, but he still managed to log three limited practices before being ruled out prior to Sunday's loss in Miami since he hadn't been cleared for contact. All things considered, though Jones hasn't been ruled out for Week 14 yet, he appears to be trending toward another absence. Meanwhile, top backup Mike Glennon suffered a concussion in his start against the Dolphins, making his own status uncertain for Week 14. As a result, Jake Fromm could get the chance to start in Los Angeles next weekend for what would be his NFL debut.

  • Broncos' Teddy Bridgewater: Rough performance in loss

Bridgewater completed 22 of 40 pass attempts for 257 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions while adding 17 yards on four carries in Sunday's 22-9 loss to Kansas City.

Bridgewater was the latest to fall victim to the now defense-led Chiefs. The veteran signal-caller was able to finally top 250 passing yards for the first time since Week 6, and he is averaging just 210.6 yards with six touchdowns and three picks over that six-game span. Bridgewater will look to take advantage of a Week 14 matchup against a Detroit team that currently surrenders 21.7 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

  • Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Claws way to victory

Mahomes completed 15 of 29 pass attempts for 184 yards and an interception while adding 12 yards and a touchdown on four rush attempts in Sunday's 22-9 win over Denver.

Mahomes was stymied by the Broncos' aggresive approach on defense, as the constant pressure kept the quarterback from developing rhythm in the pocket. In the superstar's defense, his lone interception came as a result of a dropped pass by Tyreek Hill that bounced into Patrick Surtain's hands. Mahomes finished without a passing touchdown for the second consecutive game and third time overall this season; he did not have any zero-passing-touchdown games in 2020. Despite his recent struggles, the Chiefs continue to win and sit at 8-4 heading into an important matchup against the Raiders next Sunday.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Sharp in Sunday's win

Wilson completed 30 of 37 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.

For the first time in four games since returning from finger surgery, Wilson looked more like himself, and his line would have been even better had Gerald Everett not bobbled a pass at the goal line, turning a sure TD into an INT on Seattle's first drive of the second half. The Seahawks are all but out of the NFC playoff picture at 4-8, but Wilson will likely go down slinging, beginning with a Week 14 tilt against the Texans.

  • 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Mistake-prone in Sunday's loss

Garoppolo completed 20 of 30 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Seahawks.

The third quarter was a nightmare for Garoppolo. Not only was he sacked for a safety, he also threw his second pick of the day on the Niners' subsequent possession and saw it returned into San Francisco territory to set up the winning TD for Seattle. The 30-year-old still tossed multiple touchdowns for the fourth time in the last five games while falling just shy of his fourth 300-yard performance of the year, but Garoppolo may need to be sharper in Week 14 against the Bengals.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Held in check Sunday

Carr completed 28 of 38 passes for 249 yards in Sunday's 17-15 loss to Washington.

While it was a reasonably efficient performance, Carr failed to throw a TD for only the second time all season, and his passing yardage total was also his lowest since that Week 5 dud. The veteran quarterback struggled with a lack of reliable targets -- Hunter Renfrow and Josh Jacobs combined to haul in 18 of his completions -- and that's an issue that isn't likely to improve much in Week 14 against Kansas City.

  • Football Team's Taylor Heinicke: Tosses two TDs in win

Heinicke completed 23 of 30 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 17-15 win over the Raiders.

He also gained 10 yards on three carries. Heinicke and the Washington offense didn't have a lot of success moving the football, but the QB was able to convert a couple red-zone trips with scores to Logan Thomas (knee) and Antonio Gibson. It's only the second time in the last eight games Heinicke has tossed multiple TDs, and he may need to be productive again in Week 14 against the Cowboys.
