  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Won't start Sunday

Goff (oblique) won't play Sunday against the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Goff remains officially listed as doubtful as of Saturday evening, but Schefter's report lines up with the fact that Goff didn't practice all week. Tim Boyle will make his first NFL start in his absence.

  • Colt McCoy QB | ARI

Cardinals' Colt McCoy: Likely to start again

McCoy (pectoral) is likely to make his third straight start under center in place of Kyler Murray (ankle) Sunday against Seattle, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Both quarterbacks officially carry the questionable tag, but McCoy appears to be in a better place health-wise than Murray is with his high-ankle sprain. McCoy left last week's loss to the Panthers with a pectoral strain and didn't return. He was then limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he upgraded to full activity Friday, while Murray remained a limited participant for the second day in a row. The Cardinals likely won't officially announce McCoy as their Week 11 starter until after the team releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but expect him to direct the offense while Chris Streveler serves as his backup.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Likely to remain out Week 11

Murray (ankle) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, but the quarterback appears to be trending toward a third consecutive absence, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Cardinals are unlikely to make a final decision on Murray's status until after evaluating him in a pregame warmup, but the team appears inclined to take it easy with its franchise signal-caller for another week while he continues to deal with a sprained ankle. Murray was at least a limited participant in practice Wednesday through Friday, but the Cardinals can give Murray two more weeks to rest if he sits Sunday, as the team is on bye Week 12 before returning to action Dec. 5 in Chicago. Colt McCoy (pectoral) carries the same questionable tag but is expected to start if Murray is indeed ruled out.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Has '50-50' chance to play Week 11

Jackson (illness), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, has about a 50 percent chance of playing, a source familiar with his situation tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.

After missing the Ravens' first two practices of the week with a non-COVID-19-related illness, Jackson was taken off the injury report Friday after returning to the field as a full participant. Jackson was then added back to the injury report Saturday with a questionable designation, but the belief was that his inclusion was mostly precautionary. Conversely, Schefter's latest report confirms that Jackson's availability is more up in the air, so fantasy managers planning on including him in lineups will need to verify his status when Baltimore releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Trace McSorley was elevated from the practice squad to give the Ravens an extra option at quarterback in the event that Jackson is sidelined, in which case Tyler Huntley would make his first career start.

  • Trace McSorley QB | WAS

Ravens' Trace McSorley: Bumped up from practice squad

The Ravens elevated McSorley from their practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears.

Lamar Jackson (illness) was added to the Ravens' injury report Saturday and is listed as questionable for the Week 11 contest, so McSorley will join the active roster to provide an extra option at quarterback if Jackson can't go. In the event Jackson is inactive, McSorley would serve as the backup to Tyler Huntley.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Broncos' Drew Lock: Activated by Denver

Lock (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Broncos on Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Lock was unable to suit up for two consecutive games after he tested positive for COVID-19 in early November. However, he's now cleared the league's health and safety protocols and should be able to return to practice ahead of the Broncos' Week 12 matchup against the Chargers. The 25-year-old should reclaim his role as the No. 2 quarterback behind Teddy Bridgewater.

  • Mason Rudolph QB | PIT

Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Returns to backup role

Rudolph will return to a backup role Sunday against the Chargers after Ben Roethlisberger (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.

Rudolph served as a spot starter in Sunday's Week 10 tie against Detroit and completed 30 of 50 passes for 242 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Although he performed relatively well in his interim role, he should remain in a reserve role as long as Roethlisberger is healthy.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Re-added to injury report

Jackson was re-added to the injury report with an illness and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears.

This is obviously significant news considering Jackson missed two practices this week with a non COVID-19 illness. Given the Ravens only have one other active quarterback on the roster in Tyler Huntley, we might be able to glean some information regarding the severity of the illness Saturday around 4:00 p.m. ET, when the team must announce the practice squad call-ups for the week. Trace McSorley figures to be elevated in the event the Ravens have any reservations regarding Jackson's status, but it's fair to mention the team simply could be taking the utmost precautions in the event they elevate the Penn State product. In any case, more information regarding Jackson's status should be available well before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Jeff Driskel QB | WAS

Texans' Jeff Driskel: Moving to tight end

Houston assistant coach Andy Bischoff said Thursday that Driskel is transitioning from quarterback to tight end, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.

Bischoff described Driskel as "a rare athlete," and one who could also contribute on special teams, but the coach added this is a developmental process for the 28-year-old. With that in mind, Driskel is unlikely to be active on game days for Houston in the short term, if at all this season. The organization doesn't consider him a quarterback at this time, per conversations between Bischoff, head coach David Culley and general manager Nick Caserio.

  • Tim Boyle QB | TEN

Lions' Tim Boyle: Activated ahead of likely start

The Lions reinstated Boyle (thumb) from injured reserve Friday.

The transaction officially restores Boyle to the active roster, while clearing the way for him to make his first career NFL start Sunday against the Browns with Jared Goff (oblique) listed as doubtful for the contest and not expected to be available. Through four pro seasons, Boyle has just four regular-season pass attempts to his name, and his inexperience, poor pass-catching personnel and matchup with a fearsome Cleveland pass rush all conspire to make him an untrustworthy fantasy option. Even against watered-down competition in the preseason, Boyle completed just 22 of 39 passes (56.4 percent) for 3.5 yards per attempt, one touchdown and no interceptions. He doesn't present any threat as a runner either.
