  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Two-touchdown showing

Lawrence completed 23 of 33 passes for 273 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Tennessee on Sunday, adding 28 yards and one touchdown rushing.

Lawrence's numbers had some encouraging details, including the 2:1 ratio of touchdowns to turnovers, but the Jaguars offense was mostly tamed in a contest the team lost, 37-19. The rookie can be forgiven for that given the overall state of the franchise, but for the Jaguars to be more competitive they'll need to get the ball to their best receivers, and that definitely didn't happen here. Laviska Shenault and Marvin Jones each caught just one reception Sunday -- Shenault on three targets and Jones on four. Lawrence might see similarly difficult conditions against Miami in Week 6, even after the Dolphins surrendered five touchdowns to Tom Brady in Week 5.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Jets' Zach Wilson: Takes step back

Wilson completed 19 of 32 passes for 192 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Falcons.

Wilson suffered through a horrific first half in which he mustered only 42 passing yards and threw an interception. He improved in the second half, leading the Jets' offense to two touchdowns and a field goal. However, the drives were capped by a running back on each occasion, which left Wilson without a touchdown for the third time in five games this season. The Jets will head into their bye in Week 6 and will return to action in Week 7 against New England.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Modest Week 5 showing

Tannehill completed 14-of-22 pass attempts for 197 yards and one touchdown against Jacksonville on Sunday, adding three carries for 21 yards.

Tannehill managed to draw heavy pressure despite the light workload, absorbing three sacks and eight hits from the Jacksonville pass rush, but he was at least efficient with his pass attempts. The Titans were in control for the vast majority of the 37-19 victory, and Tannehill did his part to keep them moving by completing 63.6 percent of his passes at 9.0 yards per attempt. Julio Jones (hamstring) was out and A.J. Brown (three catches for 38 yards on six targets) was mostly ineffective while returning from his own hamstring injury, so Tannehill didn't necessarily have the easiest working conditions. Tennessee will likely need to throw more against the Bills in Week 6, so hopefully the two star wideouts can shake off the rust by then.

  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Stays in Sunday's game

Brissett remained in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after initially being listed as questionable to return due to a hamstring injury, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

If Brissett suffers any setbacks as the contest rolls on, Reid Sinnett would be in line to take over at QB for the Dolphins, with Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) still on IR.

  • Dolphins' Jacoby Brissett: Exits Sunday's game

Brissett was forced out of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after suffering a hamstring injury.

With Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) on IR, Reid Sinnett is poised to take over the Dolphins' QB duties Sunday. If the injury ends up being serious enough to threaten Brissett's Week 6 status, Tagovailoa's progress will be worth monitoring closely as next weekend's game against the Jaguars approaches.

  • Eagles' Gardner Minshew: Healthy scratch once again

Minshew (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Panthers.

Minshew will be a healthy scratch for the fifth straight week to start the season. Joe Flacco will continue to operate as the backup quarterback behind Jalen Hurts.

  • Broncos' Teddy Bridgewater: Active for Sunday's game

Bridgewater (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Bridgewater, who was forced out of the Week 4 loss to the Ravens, was able to clear the necessary medical hurdles in order to gain clearance to start Sunday's game against a Pittsburgh squad in the midst of a three-game losing streak. However, the veteran signal-caller -- who heads into Week 5 with a solid 72.1 percent completion percentage and a 5:0 TD:INT -- will be working with a banged-up pass-catching corps, headed by wideouts Courtland Sutton (who's managing an ankle issue) and Tim Patrick, along with tight end Noah Fant. Meanwhile, WRs Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and KJ Hamler (knee) and TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) are all on IR.

  • 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Expected to start when healthy

Garoppolo (calf), who has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, is expected to remain the 49ers' starting quarterback if he's deemed fully healthy following the team's Week 6 bye, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan has been consistent about Garoppolo being viewed as the team's starter since Trey Lance was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the spring, and the incumbent doesn't look like he'll lose his job even after sitting out Week 5 with the injury. That said, the team's investment in Lance hardly gives Garoppolo much job security, and it wouldn't be overly surprising if the team brass' stance changes if the rookie impresses in his first career NFL start Week 5. Garoppolo at least looks on track to be available coming out of the bye week, with Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports relaying that the veteran's right calf injury has a roughly "70 percent chance" of healing enough for him to be available Week 7 against the Colts.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Could be back in four weeks

The Seahawks and Wilson's doctors have optimism that the quarterback could be ready to play in four weeks in a best-case scenario after he underwent surgery Friday to repair a fractured right middle finger, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Before Wilson checked in for surgery Friday, multiple doctors familiar with his injury believed that the signal-caller could be headed for a 6-to-8-week absence. After the surgery was completed, however, Wilson's outlook appears to have brightened a bit, with a four-week absence now seen as realistic. If that's the case, Wilson could be ready to play as soon as the Seahawks' Week 10 game at Green Bay, but his absence for at least the next three contests will snap his streak of 149 consecutive starts. Geno Smith is in line to direct the Seattle offense while Wilson is out, a context that likely amounts to a downgrade to the fantasy values of all of the Seahawks' skill-position players.

  • Broncos' Teddy Bridgewater: Expected to start Sunday

Bridgewater, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, has cleared the concussion protocol and will start at quarterback, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Bridgewater was able to fully participate in practice Friday, but he still took the questionable tag into the weekend since he still need to pass an exam from an independent neurologist. Schefter's report would seem to imply that Bridgewater has passed the fifth and final stage of the protocol, putting him in position to maintain his usual starting role Week 5. Still, fantasy managers planning to use Bridgewater will want to confirm that he's active ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
