Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Browns' Baker Mayfield: Avoids serious injury
Mayfield's ribs X-rays came back negative Sunday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Mayfield spent time in the medical tent during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 32-23 win over the Colts, though he was ultimately able to retake the field, and his post-game X-rays now seem to confirm that he's escaped without a serious injury. The third-year signal-caller said himself that he'll be "ready" to suit up at Pittsburgh in Week 6, so even if he's limited at all when the Browns resume practicing, it won't be cause for much concern. Mayfield put up a season-high 247 passing yards in addition to two scores versus a stout Colts secondary Sunday, though a pair of interceptions somewhat detract from the luster of his performance.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Panthers' Teddy Bridgewater: Breaks 300 yards against Atlanta
Bridgewater went 27-for-37 passing with 313 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 23-16 win against the Falcons.
The one-time Pro Bowl QB has been prolific in the yardage department through his first five outings as a Panther, averaging 292 passing yards per game with a 6:3 TD:INT. Bridgewater has also been uber-efficient in terms of his completion percentage, with Sunday's outing against the Falcons being his fourth performance of the season with a completion rate exceeding 70 percent. In Week 6, Bridgewater will face a Bears defense that surrendered 253 passing yards and one TD to Tom Brady its last time out.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Comes up short in Dallas
Jones completed 20 of 33 passes for 222 yards with zero touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's 37-34 loss to the Cowboys. He recorded minus-seven rushing yards on two carries and threw a two-point conversion.
The second-year QB appeared headed for a big day after the Giants jumped out to a 17-3 lead early in the second quarter, but Jones lost a fumble on a DeMarcus Lawrence sack five minutes before halftime that was returned for a Dallas TD, and he wasn't able to sustain much offensive momentum after that in the face of increasing pressure from the Cowboys' pass rush. Jones has now failed to throw a touchdown pass in four straight games, making him a very risky fantasy option in Week 6 when the Giants host Washington.

Joe Burrow QB | CIN
Bengals' Joe Burrow: Shut down by Ravens
Burrow went 19-for-30 passing with 183 yards, no touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 27-3 loss to Baltimore. He also ran for 10 yards on three carries, fumbling twice and committing one lost fumble.
It was a turbulent outing for the No. 1 overall pick in his debut against Wink Martindale's defense, as he was held to a season low in passing, also failing to record a TD in a game for the first time in his career. Burrow committed multiple turnovers for the first time as an NFL player, in large part because the Ravens recorded an astronomical seven sacks on the young signal-caller. Burrow next faces a Colts defense that entered the weekend allowing a league-low 159.2 passing yards per game but that showed glimpses of vulnerability in surrendering 261 passing yards and two passing TDs to the Browns on Sunday.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Likely done for the year
Prescott is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a severe ankle injury sustained during Sunday's 37-34 win over the Giants, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Prescott had to be transported to a local Arlington hospital after suffering a right ankle compound fracture and dislocation Sunday, and he'll now undergo what is expected to be season-ending surgery to address the injury. The 27-year-old's 2020 campaign will come to an end with 1,856 passing yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions, a 16-game pace which would have put him on track to set multiple records. He also caught one touchdown versus the Giants. In Prescott's stead, Andy Dalton will step up under center and lead the Cowboys' passing attack for the rest of the year.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Browns' Baker Mayfield: Injures ribs in win
Mayfield will undergo X-rays on his ribs due to a hit sustained during Sunday's 32-23 win over the Colts, during which threw two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Mayfield suffered his ribs injury due to a hit from Justin Houston, which caused him to throw his second pick of the afternoon. He briefly spent time on the sideline in the injury tent late in the fourth quarter, but he ultimately managed to return and finish out the contest. In all, Mayfield completed 21 of 37 pass attempts for 247 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also carried the ball twice for 17 yards. With Mayfield at the helm, the Browns now boast a 4-1 record through five games for the first time since 1994.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Undergoing ankle surgery
Prescott will undergo surgery on his right ankle Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Prescott suffered what the Cowboys have termed a "serious right ankle injury" during Sunday's game against the Giants, as he had his leg twisted up while being tackled. The star quarterback had to be carted off the field and was immediately transported to a local Arlington hospital, where he'll undergo surgery. Andy Dalton will slot into the starting lineup for Dallas as long as Prescott remains out.

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Taken to hospital for evaluation
Prescott will be taken to a local hospital for evaluation after suffering a brutal ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Prescott was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday's contest when he suffered what the Cowboys have termed a "serious right ankle injury" while being tackled, as Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports. The Cowboys will rely on Andy Dalton under center for the remainder of Sunday's divisional match, and possibly for the foreseeable future, given the apparent severity of Prescott's injury.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Suffers gruesome injury
Prescott was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Giants after his lower right leg was bent awkwardly at the end of a tackle, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Considering the concern from both sidelines, Prescott seems poised to miss significant time with this injury. He'll end his day 14-for-21 passing for 166 yards and one interception, two carries for seven yards and an 11-yard touchdown grab on a trick play. Andy Dalton will take over for Prescott under center.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Taking second half off Sunday
Garoppolo will yield the quarterback role to C.J. Beathard for the second half of Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. If he doesn't reenter the game, Garoppolo will finish 7-for-17 passing for 77 yards and two interceptions.
On seven first-half possessions, the 49ers scored one touchdown, but they otherwise punted three times, had a turnover on downs and capped the half with back-to-back Garoppolo picks. Per Wagoner, coach Kyle Shanahan told the Fox broadcast that the decision was made to "protect" Garoppolo, who was making his first appearance after two games missed due to a high right-ankle sprain. San Francisco doesn't have a respite for the foreseeable future -- its bye is Week 11 -- but it stands to reason Garoppolo will have his practice reps closely monitored in the short term to make sure he can perform on game day. Nick Mullens was a healthy scratch Sunday, so Garoppolo will serve as the sole backup to Beathard in the second half.
