Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Pulled early in blowout loss
Carr completed 15 of 27 passes for 127 yards and an interception in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Jets. He also rushed once for 11 yards prior to being removed in the third quarter.
Carr was pulled late in the third quarter with his team trailing 34-3, as coach Jon Gruden didn't see any point in leaving the starting quarterback in. Carr's interception two drives earlier was returned for a touchdown. This dud stunts the momentum Carr had built up with 285-plus yards in four of the previous five games, along with a 9:2 TD:INT over those five games. There's no time to dwell on this performance, with the Raiders set to travel to Kansas City in Week 13 to face a Chiefs team that holds a one-game lead over Oakland atop the AFC West.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Pulled Sunday amid struggles
Rudolph (coach's decision) exited Sunday's game against the Bengals and was replaced by Devlin Hodges, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Rudolph's first half wasn't impressive, and he's been benched to begin the third quarter as a result. Before exiting Sunday's contest, Rudolph completed eight of 16 pass attempts for 85 yards and one interception. He was also sacked once. Coach Mike Tomlin's comments about his quarterback situation heading into Week 13 will bear watching.

Drew Lock QB | SEA
Broncos' Drew Lock: Could be activated Week 13
Coach Vic Fangio said Friday that it's possible Lock (thumb) could be activated from injured reserve Week 13, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Fangio said Lock has been "doing good when you factor in he hasn't done anything since August." Since being designated for return from IR on Nov. 12, Lock has worked with the scout team. The Broncos will have until Week 14 against the Texans to make a decision on the rookie second-round pick, who stands to be the backup to starting signal-caller Brandon Allen in the event that he does join the 53-man roster.

Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN
Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Good to go
Trubisky (hip) has no injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Trubisky was removed for the final possession of last week's 17-7 loss to the Rams, with coach Matt Nagy citing a hip pointer. The quarterback returned to practice as a full participant Wednesday through Friday, setting him up for another start Sunday against the Giants. It's fair to wonder whether Nagy might consider switching to Chase Daniel in the event Trubisky can't end his struggles -- at least temporarily -- against a New York defense ranked 31st in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.8) and 25th in passing yards allowed per game (259.0).

Taylor Heinicke QB | LAC
Taylor Heinicke: Heading to XFL
Heinicke signed a contract with the St. Louis BattleHawks of the XFL on Friday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
The 26-year-old appeared in six games for the Panthers last season but was unable to earn a spot on the 53-man roster this season, as Kyle Allen and rookie Will Grier worked as the backup options to the now-injured Cam Newton (foot). Heinicke completed 35 of 57 passes for 320 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions in 2018, but he'll now have a chance to showcase himself in the new iteration of the XFL.

Josh Johnson QB | CIN
Josh Johnson: Heads to XFL
Johnson signed a contract with the XFL's Los Angeles Wildcats on Friday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson appeared in four games for the Redskins last season (three starts), completing 57 percent of his passes for 590 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. He also played for the Buccaneers, Browns and Bengals in his NFL career. A stipulation in Johnson's contract bars him from participating in the NFL for the duration of the season in order to attend next month's XFL minicamp.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Colts' Jacoby Brissett: Underwhelming in Week 12 loss
Brissett completed 16 of 25 passes for 129 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed four times for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 20-17 loss to the Texans on Thursday.
Brissett's final passing line says it all as far as how lackluster the air attack was Thursday, even with the return to action of T.Y. Hilton (calf). The fourth-year quarterback's passing yardage total served as a season low for him in a non-injury-shortened game, and it was his second straight sub-200-yard effort overall while playing all four quarters. Hilton was on a snap limit of sorts Thursday -- which certainly didn't help Brissett overall -- but he also failed to connect with two of his other wideouts, Marcus Johnson and Zach Pascal. Brissett did manage his third rushing touchdown of the campaign with a five-yard score in the latter portion of the second quarter, but he'll look to significantly boost his passing production at the expense of the Titans in Week 13.

Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Texans' Deshaun Watson: Bounces back in Week 12 win
Watson completed 19 of 30 passes for 298 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Texans' 20-17 win over the Colts on Thursday. He also rushed three times for 10 yards and had one fumble but recovered it.
Following a forgettable sub-200-yard showing against the Ravens just four days prior, Watson came out looking like a completely different quarterback and had his deep ball working particularly well. The third-year signal-caller hit DeAndre Hopkins for beautifully thrown touchdown passes of 35 and 30 yards. He also connected with Will Fuller on throws of 44 and 51 yards, which helped him to come within two yards of his fourth 300-yard effort of the campaign on a relatively modest 19 completions. With the loss to Baltimore now exorcised, Watson will take on the daunting challenge of the Patriots defense in a Week 13 matchup, a week from this coming Sunday.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Intends to play again this season
Stafford (back) indicated he expects to suit up again this season, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. "Whenever we all deem it's the right time for me to get back out there, I'll be out there," Stafford said Wednesday.
Stafford hasn't appeared on the practice field since X-rays revealed multiple fractures in his back on Nov. 4. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday that Stafford is dealing with a six-week injury, but by the quarterback's own words, he intends to return to action once the team determine he's ready to do so. As long as Stafford is sidelined, though, the Lions will operate with Jeff Driskel under center.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Practices fully Wednesday
Winston (ankle) practiced in full Wednesday, Carmen Vitali of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
During the Bucs' Week 11 loss to the Saints, Winston sprained his left ankle when New Orleans defensive end Trey Hendrickson landed on his leg at the 5:24 mark of the fourth quarter. On the next play, Winston tossed his third of four interceptions on the day, with Marcus Williams taking the pick back 55 yards to the house. Because his practice reps remained intact Wednesday, Winston's health doesn't appear to be a question. On the other hand, he's thrown multiple picks in four of the last five games and leads the NFL with 18 interceptions, making him a risky play on a weekly basis.
