  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Huge game on ground

Murray completed 20 of 32 passes for 253 yards without a touchdown or interception and added 10 carries for 93 yards and a TD in Sunday's 26-23 win over the Bengals.

The rookie quarterback had his best rushing day yet, scoring on the ground for the second straight game even as Murray also failed to throw a TD pass for the third time in five games. He did spread the ball around well -- eight different Cardinals caught passes in the game -- and could have had a more productive day through the air had players like Christian Kirk (ankle) been in the lineup. Murray will get a chance to show what he can do with his arm Week 6 at home against a Falcons defense that just got lit up by Deshaun Watson.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Sets completion percentage mark

Allen completed 23 of 32 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 14-7 win over the Titans. He added 27 yards on 10 carries on the ground.

Allen was quiet for much of the first half before finding a wide-open Lee Smith off play action for an eight-yard touchdown right before halftime. Though the stats don't jump out at you, Allen's 71.9 percent completion rate was a career high for a game and he threw for multiple touchdowns for the first time this season. He remains dangerous with his legs, converting a game-winning third-down conversion with a boot-out. These small improvements can expand in Week 7 when the surprising 4-1 Bills take on the winless Dolphins.

  • Luke Falk QB | NYJ

Jets' Luke Falk: Exits late in abhorrent outing

Falk exited after getting sacked late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 31-6 loss to the Eagles, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports. He completed 15 of 26 passes for 120 yards and two interceptions and lost one of two fumbles.

It's unclear if Falk's late removal was precautionary, performance-related or due to injury. Falk's first interception was returned 51 yards for a touchdown and his fumble saw the ball taken right out of his hands and returned 44 yards for a TD. It's apparent that the third-stringer isn't an NFL-level quarterback. Running back Le'Veon Bell is the only Jets player even worth fantasy consideration as long as Falk remains under center, but Falk's tenure as the starter could be coming to a close with Sam Darnold (mononucleosis) aiming to return by the team's Week 6 meeting with Dallas. If neither Darnold nor Falk are able to suit up, the next man up would presumably be David Fales.

  • Mason Rudolph QB | PIT

Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Leaves Sunday's game

Rudolph (concussion) was forced out of Sunday's game against the Ravens after absorbing a helmet-to-helmet hit.

Rudolph was visibly shaken up as he was helped off the field Sunday, and it can be assumed that he's done for the day. Devlin Hodges took over at QB for the Steelers following Rudolph's exit.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Listed as active Sunday

Allen is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Allen cleared the NFL's concussion protocol Saturday, paving the way for him to handle the team's Week 5 QB duties. He's recorded an uninspiring 3:6 TD:INT to date, but Allen's activity as a rusher -- 31 carries for 131 yards and three TDs so far -- continues to prop up his fantasy profile.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Redskins' Case Keenum: Held out Sunday

Keenum (foot) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Patriots.

Keenum opened the season with two 300-yard performances and an 8:3 TD:INT through the first three games, but a foot injury has affected him ever since. It even was blamed as the reason for his removal from last Sunday's loss to the Giants, when he yielded to rookie Dwayne Haskins under center. After fellow veteran Colt McCoy was named the Week 5 starter Friday, it appears the Redskins want Keenum to get healthy before reconsidering his installation as the No. 1 QB. Nonetheless, Haskins will serve as McCoy's only backup Sunday.

  • Matt Barkley QB | JAC

Bills' Matt Barkley: Back seat looking probable

Barkley's teammate Josh Allen has been cleared from the concussion protocol and the tentative plan is for Allen to start Sunday's game in Tennessee.

That means Barkley will move back into the No. 2 role, where he serves as one of the more valuable backups in the league given that he's shown a knack to run the Buffalo offense, as well as Allen's propensity to run the ball into dangerous traffic.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Cleared from concussion protocol

Allen (concussion) was cleared from the concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday against the Titans.

While the Bills didn't outright say their starting quarterback would take the field, it certainly appears to be the case after Allen cleared concussion protocol. The second-year signal caller has already thrown an unruly six interceptions through four games, but his completion percentage is up to 60 percent compared to 53 percent last season, and he's easily on pace to set a new career high in terms of passing yards.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

    Broncos' Drew Lock: Resumes throwing

Lock said Friday that he's progressing well in his recovery from a severe right thumb sprain and is healing on schedule, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

Lock acknowledged that he has resumed "throwing a little bit" -- the first meaningful step in an eventual return to practice. Since the Broncos placed him on injured reserve at the conclusion of the preseason, Lock isn't eligible to start practicing with the team until Week 7 and can't be activated from IR until Week 9.

  • Matt Barkley QB | JAC

Bills' Matt Barkley: Still waiting in wings

Barkley's teammate Josh Allen practiced fully Friday but has still not cleared the league's concussion protocol.

We'll get an announcement either way prior to Sunday morning and possibly as soon as Saturday, while Barkley will start for the Bills in Tennessee if his younger teammate does not receive clearance.
