The veteran QB figures to keep rolling in Week 6 against a Panthers defense that just gave up three passing TDs to Tua Tagovailoa.

Dart completed 26 of 40 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Saints. He added 55 rushing yards on seven carries and also lost a fumble.

The rookie's second career NFL start didn't go as well as his first, as Dart put the ball on the ground in the third quarter with his team down only 16-14, and then threw two picks in the fourth quarter while trying to mount a comeback. Dart leaned heavily on short routes in his first game working without Malik Nabers (knee), with tight end Theo Johnson catching both his TDs and Johnson, No. 2 tight end Daniel Bellinger and running back Cam Skattebo combining for 16 receptions. Dart will need to clean up his turnovers in Week 6 if the Giants are going to have any hope of upsetting the NFC East-leading Eagles.

Johnson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers and will serve as the Commanders' emergency third quarterback.

Johnson served as the Commanders' backup quarterback over the last two games due to the absence of Jayden Daniels, who was nursing a knee injury. With Daniels cleared to play Sunday, Marcus Mariota will revert to his backup role while Johnson serves as the emergency quarterback, which means he won't be allowed to see the field unless Daniels and Mariota were to leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Wentz completed 25 of 34 passes for 236 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions while adding three rushes for 13 yards in the Vikings' 21-17 win over the Browns in London on Sunday.

Wentz exited the game with a left shoulder injury late in the second quarter, although he technically only missed the end-of-half kneel-down play before returning to start the second half. The veteran quarterback's presence would end up proving critical in the Vikings' comeback win, as Wentz battled through the injury and a ferocious Browns pass rush to ultimately helm a game-winning 10-play, 80-yard march that he capped off with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison. Wentz went a blistering 9-for-9 on that final drive, capping off what might have been the final installment of his current starting tenure in fine fashion. Minnesota now heads into a Week 6 bye, and J.J. McCarthy (ankle) may be ready to return to action when the Eagles pay a visit for a Week 7 matchup on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Gabriel completed 19 of 33 passes for 190 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Vikings. He added two rushes for five yards.

Gabriel drew his first NFL start in a tough situation, traveling overseas to London while facing one of the more intricate defenses in the league. He handled himself well, as he didn't turn the ball over and was sacked only twice. While Gabriel primarily worked in the short areas of the field, he did manage a pair of completions of more than 20 yards and led two lengthy touchdown drives. There will still be plenty of chatter about the quarterback situation in Cleveland, but Gabriel made a positive first impression as the team's starter.

Jackson (hamstring) -- who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans -- has an "outside shot" to play in the Ravens' Week 6 game versus the Rams, Jay Glazer reported on "Fox NFL Sunday."

Glazer's dispatch essentially matches what Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday, when he noted that the two-time league MVP would be facing an estimated 2-to-3-week recovery timeline from the hamstring injury he sustained in last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. Though the Ravens appear set to wait and see how Jackson progresses in his recovery over the next several days before deciding on his status for the matchup with the Rams, the team is on bye Week 7, which could incentivize Baltimore to hold him out until then to give him added time to heal up. Cooper Rush will step in for Jackson as the Ravens' starting quarterback against the Texans.

Ewers is the Dolphins' emergency No. 3 QB for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Ewers remains behind Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson in the Dolphins' QB pecking order and won't see the field Sunday unless both of the two players ahead of him end up sidelined as the game progresses.

Winston (coach's decision) is inactive but available as the Giants' emergency third quarterback for Sunday's contest at New Orleans, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

For a second straight week, Howell will serve as the No. 3 QB behind Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee. Howell was the primary backup for the first games of the season while McKee was recovering from a broken thumb. Howell can only see the field if both Hurts and McKee leave Sunday's contest due to injury.
