  • Bills' Nathan Peterman: Makes costly error after replacing Allen

Peterman completed six of 12 pass attempts for 61 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Texans. He also gained two yards on his only carry.

Peterman was called into action after Josh Allen went down with an elbow injury late in the third quarter. He helped capitalize on a Texans turnover with a 16-yard touchdown pass to give his side the lead, but he threw interceptions on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter, including one that was returned for the decisive touchdown. The severity of Allen's injury has yet to be determined, but in the event that he's forced to miss time Peterman could step in as the starter. However, given his track record of ineptitude -- he had a five-interception game last season and was awful in the 2018 opener against Baltimore -- the team could turn to Derek Anderson or pursue outside options if the rookie Allen is facing an extended absence.

  • Browns' Baker Mayfield: Tosses two interceptions

Mayfield completed 22 of 46 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Chargers. He also ran the ball twice for eight yards.

The Chargers made life tough for the rookie quarterback Sunday, sacking Mayfield five times and picking off two of his passes during the blowout victory. While Mayfield's 42 percent completion rate isn't pretty, he fell victim to a few dropped passes, including one to Damion Ratley in the end zone that fell through the receiver's hands. He connected with David Njoku for his lone touchdown pass of the day on a goal-line fade, though the tight end made a fantastic grab of the underthrown ball. Mayfield and Cleveland's offense will look to rebound next week against the Buccaneers.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Survives defensive assault in Week 6 win

Watson completed 15 of 25 passes for 177 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and added two yards on two rushes in the Texans' 20-13 win over the Bills on Sunday. He also fumbled three times, losing one.

Watson came into the game reportedly sporting both rib and lung injuries, the byproduct of a leaky offensive line that had allowed him to get battered over the first five games. Their protection issues were only exacerbated by an aggressive Bills pass rush Sunday, as they got to the quarterback on seven occasions and hit him an additional four times overall. However, Watson managed to do just enough to keep the Texans competitive throughout the contest, and he was able to hit DeAndre Hopkins from 13 yards out in the first quarter to keep his season-opening touchdown streak alive. Ultimately, a late pick-six off Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman snapped a 13-13 tie and handed Houston the win, despite Watson posting his lowest passing yardage total of the season by far. He'll look to heal up as much as possible before a Week 7 date with another hard-hitting defense in the Jaguars.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Hurts right elbow

Allen left Sunday's loss to the Texans in the third quarter due to a right (throwing) elbow injury, Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports.

Allen's status for Week 7's game against the Colts is thus cloudy. Nathan Peterman, who replaced Allen on Sunday, proceeded to toss a couple of costly picks in his relief appearance. Derek Anderson was the Bills' inactive third QB against the Texans.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Injures left shoulder Sunday

Carr left Sunday's game against the Seahawks during the fourth quarter due to a left shoulder injury, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Carr attempted to convince coach Jon Gruden to let him back in the game after meeting with medical personnel, but backup AJ McCarron could be asked to finish this contest. The Raiders' aerial attack has been affected by multiple injuries Sunday, as Amari Cooper and Seth Roberts also exited with concussions.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Exits Sunday's game with elbow injury

Allen was replaced by Nathan Peterman during Sunday's game against the Texans after suffering an elbow injury, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to his exit from the game, Allen had completed 10 of 17 passes for 84 yards and carried four times for 20 yards.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Playing through multiple injuries

Watson is currently playing through a cracked rib and a bruised lung, and he initially suffered a partially collapsed lung in a Week 5 overtime win against the Cowboys, Fox's Jay Glazer reports.

Watson's injuries were more serious than initially disclosed, though he'll still play Sunday against the Bills. However, this report underscores how uncertain how fragile his health is heading into the contest.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Won't play Week 6

Tannehill (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's Week 6 tilt against the Bears, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

That went downhill fast. Tannehill popped up on the injury report Friday with his shoulder issue, and reports early Sunday morning increasingly pointed to him trending toward the doubtful side of questionable. The inactive list now officially confirms his absence, with Brock Osweiler set to take the reins of the offense against an aggressive Bears defense. Osweiler's spotty body of work over his NFL career doesn't do much to inspire confidence in the prospects of the Dolphins' skill players, a group that includes a returning DeVante Parker (quadriceps).

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Suits up Sunday

Watson (chest) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Watson is "battling a painful bruised chest and lung," but the QB is slated to tough it out Sunday, with his top three pass-catchers DeAndre Hopkins (foot), Will Fuller (hamstring) and Keke Coutee (hamstring) all on hand after having been limited at practice this past week before heading into the game without Week 6 injury designations. Given Watson's injury situation, it's not hard to imagine the Texans limiting his designed running plays Sunday, though assuming no in-game setbacks, the signal-caller is still capable of doing his share of fantasy damage via the team's passing attack.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Iffy for Sunday's game

Tannehill (shoulder) -- whose status for Sunday's 1:00 ET game against the Bears is viewed as up in the air, is looking doubtful for the contest, Adam Schefter of ESPN relays via ESPN's Jeff Darlington.

Added clarity on the situation will arrive upon the release of Miami's Week 6 inactives, but at this stage, it looks the team may be forced to start Brock Osweiler against the Bears.
