  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Status 'up in the air' for Week 6

Tannehill's (shoulder) status for Sunday's game against the Bears is considered "up in the air" with the 1 p.m. EDT kickoff less than four hours away, a source informed Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Tannehill was a surprise addition to the Dolphins' injury report Friday when the right shoulder injury limited his participation in practice, resulting in him carrying a questionable designation heading into the weekend. It seems that Tannehill hasn't demonstrate any substantial progress in his recovery from the injury over the last two days, so the Dolphins will presumably reassess his health during a pregame workout before rendering a decision on his availability. Another update on Tannehill should come when the team releases its inactive report approximately 90 minutes before kickoff, but Brock Osweiler would likely start against Chicago if Tannehill isn't deemed ready to go.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Likely to start Sunday

Watson (chest), who is listed as questionable, is expected to start Sunday against the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Watson has taken a beating this season, so this may not be the first time he carries an injury designation into a game. The second-year signal-caller has been sacked 18 times -- tied for third-most in the league -- and has absorbed a league-high 53 hits. The Texans limited Watson's reps in practice all week, but he's not expected to face any restrictions come Sunday.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Not listed on injury report

Rodgers (knee) is officially absent from the Packers' injury report for Monday's matchup with the 49ers, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.

There was originally concern for Rodgers' status after he admitted to suffering a minor setback with his MCL sprain in last week's lost to the Lions. However, he logged a full session at Friday's practice, so this news is relatively unsurprising. Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) are both considered game-time decisions, so Rodgers could once again be short-handed at receiver.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Logs full practice

Rodgers (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Rodgers suffered a minor setback with his MCL sprain during last week's loss to the Lions and subsequently was held out from Thursday's practice. His return to full participation Friday suggests he should be fine to face the 49ers on Monday, with a chance to get Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) back in the lineup. Cobb and Allison were limited participants Thursday and Friday.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Questionable for Sunday's game

Watson (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Watson was hammered by the Cowboys last Sunday, getting sacked once and taking on 10 quarterback hits. That's not including the few times he was hit on the sideline or near the goal line. After failing to throw during the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, he did so Friday, yet he was listed as a limited practice participant for a third straight day. Coach Bill O'Brien didn't explicitly touch on Watson's availability earlier Friday, aside from saying the quarterback's mobility is "good," per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. Watson's status will be one to watch in advance of Sunday's 1:00 PM ET kickoff.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Added to injury report

Tannehill (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears after logging a limited practice Friday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Tannehill practiced fully both Wednesday and Thursday, so his addition to the injury report Friday is notable. We'll have to see if his limitations were precautionary, or indicative of something that could actually affect his Week 6 status, but fortunately for those invested in Miami's passing game this weekend, the Dolphins kick off at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday. Brock Osweiler is Tannehill's top backup.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Will practice Friday

Head coach Mike McCarthy said Rodgers (knee) will practice Friday, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.

McCarthy did not say how involved Rodgers will be Friday, but it appears he will get more work in than he did Thursday, when he was listed as a non-participant.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Non-participant at Thursday's practice

Rodgers (knee) was listed as a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Rodgers appears to have reverted to his pre-Week 5 practice regimen, when he was in the rehab group for the first and third practices, participated in a full-pads session in between them, and took part in the final jog-through before game day. The preceding is the result of what Rodgers called a setback with his left knee. "I hope not," Rodgers told Demovsky of returning to the bulkier brace used from Weeks 2 through 4. "The goal would be to wear the same [smaller] brace I wore last week, but I have a lot of faith in our training staff and we're going to [use] the brace we feel is most safe and allowing me to do exactly what I'm able to do on Monday." Assuming he's out there Monday against the 49ers, Rodgers may have the services of his No. 2 and 3 wide receivers. Both Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) logged limited practices Thursday, with the latter of the two clearing the concussion protocol.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Logs another limited practice

Watson (chest) was limited once again at practice Thursday.

Watson has expressed no doubt about playing Sunday against the Bills, a notion that would be solidified if he approaches the contest minus an injury designation, a plausible outcome once the Texans release their final Week 6 report Friday.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Working with rehab group Thursday

Rodgers (knee) will work in the rehab group with the Packers' other injured players Thursday and is expected to be listed as a non-participant on the team's first practice report of the week, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The fact that Rodgers is being withheld from the Packers' first practice of the week isn't anything new, as his reps have been restricted since he sustained a deep bone bruise and sprained MCL in his left knee in the season-opening win over the Bears. Rodgers hasn't missed any game action because of the injury, but he relayed after Sunday's loss to the Lions that his knee is a "little more sore" than it had been over the past couple of weeks. With that in mind, it wouldn't be surprising if Rodgers was a limited or non-participant in Friday's practice, though more concern about his status for Monday's game against the 49ers would arise if he isn't able to join the main group for Saturday's session.
