Trubisky completed 17 of 33 passes for 147 yards and two interceptions during Sunday's 31-3 loss to the Eagles. He rushed for 12 yards on four carries during the contest.

It was certainly a step back for Trubisky, who had as many picks against the Eagles on Sunday as he had through his first six career starts. The Bears' typically conservative approach didn't stand a chance with the Eagles up by multiple scores early. With no multi-touchdown games this season and just one performance of over 180 passing yards, the rookie shouldn't be on your radar.

Lynch left Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.

With Lynch injured and Brock Osweiler inactive Sunday, Trevor Siemian is back in at quarterback for the Broncos. Prior to his exit, Lynch completed nine of 14 pass attempts for 41 yards and a pick, while adding two carries for 20 yards.

Rodgers (collarbone) took part in a throwing session prior to Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

As Demovsky mentioned, the session marked Rodgers' first that included visual evidence of throwing. The development comes just days before Rodgers can embark on the final stages of his recovery from a fractured right collarbone. Because he can return from injured reserve as early as Week 15 at Carolina, practice can be added to his regimen this week. Whether he does so remains to be seen, but Sunday's activity was a step in the right direction.

Mariota completed 17 of 25 passes for 184 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while rushing for four yards on three attempts in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Colts.

Mariota threw a pair of costly interceptions from his own territory in the second quarter, leading to 10 Indianapolis points. However, he was able to orchestrate a second-half comeback to end a nine-game road losing streak against this AFC South Division rival with some major help from the defense. Mariota hit Delanie Walker for a two-yard score late in the third quarter after a fumble recovery set the offense up with first-and-goal from the four-yard line, then racked up 29 of the 77 yards on his team's go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter. The third-year quarterback is 7-3 in 10 starts this season despite an underwhelming 9:12 touchdown-to-interception ratio through the air.

Brissett completed 17 of 29 passes for 196 yards without a touchdown or interception while rushing three times for 16 yards and losing one of two fumbles in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Titans.

Brissett wasn't asked to do much for most of this one, as strong play from the defense and running game had his team up 16-6 late in third quarter. Things all came apart from there, however, as a toss to Marlon Mack gone awry led to a fumble recovered by Tennessee at Indianapolis' four-yard line. Delanie Walker's ensuing touchdown promptly made it a three-point game, and Brissett had no answer after the visitors took the lead for good with 5:59 left in the fourth.

Taylor completed 19 of 29 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown while rushing nine times for 27 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over Kansas City.

Taylor's steady hand under center was a welcome sight after last week's disastrous failure of the Nathan Peterman experiment. The veteran quarterback rolled out left and patiently held onto the ball until Zay Jones came uncovered in the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown late in the first quarter. Taylor's longest completion was a nearly intercepted, 33-yard pass to Charles Clay to set up a third-quarter field goal. The mobile quarterback isn't going to rack up gaudy passing totals, but he's a high-floor option thanks to his ability to protect the ball.

Dalton completed 18 of 28 pass attempts for 214 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Browns.

He also rushed four times for 26 yards. The TCU product capped the Bengals' first drive of each half with touchdown passes and extended his interception-less streak to five. Up next is a home tilt with Pittsburgh, against whom he passed for 140 yards and two touchdowns to go with two interceptions in Week 7.

Allen (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints, Rich Hammond of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Allen is third on the Rams' depth chart at quarterback, so he won't dress on game days unless starter Jared Goff or backup Sean Mannion succumbs to an injury.

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday that the 49ers are comfortable using their franchise tag on Garoppolo next season, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. "He does not have to play (this season)," Shanahan said. "It's not that we're coming to this deadline and we've got to decide our future, ours and his, for both sides. We've got six games left and we're going to have next year, also. I know you have to franchise a quarterback to keep him, but quarterbacks are expensive. And that is not that big of a deal to us."

Shanahan's comments support the notion that the 49ers view Garoppolo as a long-term solution at quarterback, despite the 26-year-old having yet to take a snap with his new team, who acquired him Oct. 30 for a 2018 second-round pick. C.J. Beathard will retain starting duties Sunday against the Seahawks, but it's expected that Garoppolo will make his debut at some point down the stretch as the team looks to get a clearer evaluation of him heading into the offseason. The one-year tag -- which would pay Garoppolo around $25 million next season -- would be a hefty investment for a player with just two career NFL starts to his name.

Winston (shoulder), who will miss his third straight game Sunday against the Falcons, could return for the Buccaneers' Week 13 matchup with the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport relayed that Winston required platelet-rich plasma injections two weeks ago to address the injury to his throwing shoulder, with the treatment method apparently having produced the desired effect. Winston is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm that he's healing as anticipated, and if his scans come back clean, the quarterback could resume practicing as soon as next week. The Buccaneers have won both of their games with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starting signal caller, but it's expected that he'll settle back into a backup role as soon as Winston is ready to go.
