Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bengals' Andy Dalton: Throws, rushes for scores against Patriots
Dalton completed 21 of 31 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to New England. He rushed for 17 yards and a score on two carries.
Dalton gave Cincinnati the lead late in the first half after keeping it on an option sweep and cutting up for a two-yard score. He struck again early in the second half with a touchdown toss to Brandon LaFell, but overall had a fairly ho-hum game despite several nice drops in the bucket to AJ Green and Tyler Boyd. At this point last season, Dalton was on his way to becoming a fantasy star with 14 touchdown passes and another two scores on the ground in six games. Dalton, this season, has just six touchdown passes and one rushing score over the same span and has more games with one or fewer passing touchdowns, five, than he had in 12 full games last season, three. The continued absence of red-zone favorite Tyler Eifert is certainly a factor, but fantasy owners who thought themselves shrewd to snag Dalton this season can't wait much longer to find out how much of a difference the tight end will make.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Throws two touchdowns against 49ers
Taylor completed 17 of 26 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over San Francisco. He added 68 yards on eight carries, but lost a fumble during the contest.
LeSean McCoy set them up and Taylor knocked them down. After giving the 49ers a steady diet of McCoy early on, Taylor threw 97 of his yards and both his touchdowns in the second half - including a 30-yard deep flag to newly acquired target Justin Hunter - the pair's second touchdown connection in as many games. Taylor isn't featured enough in Anthony Lynn's run-focused offense to be anything more than a spot starter, as he's topped 200 yards passing just once and 200 total yards twice in Lynn's four games as offensive coordinator. However, the mobile quarterback has also done well to protect the ball, with six total touchdowns and one turnover (Sunday's fumble) during the span.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Fails to throw a touchdown pass in Sunday loss
Hoyer completed 30 of 49 passes for 302 yards Sunday against the Jaguars.
Hoyer had the Bears deep in Jacksonville territory on numerous occasions, but the only touchdown the team was able to produce was on a run by Jordan Howard. Hoyer leaned heavily upon Alshon Jeffery, Cameron Meredith and Zach Miller, as he fired 38 of his 49 pass attempts to them. This was the fourth straight game in which he threw for at least 300 yards, and although his production led to just 16 points, he didn't turn the ball over, keeping Chicago in the game. Although he hasn't officially taken over the starting job from Jay Cutler (thumb), it would be a major surprise if he didn't remain under center for the foreseeable future, and as long as he continues behind center, he'll be a borderline fantasy starter. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Packers.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Throws four touchdowns versus Rams
Stafford completed 23 of 31 passes for 270 yards and four touchdowns without an interception Sunday against the Rams. He added another 14 rushing yards across five carries.
Stafford took advantage of a suspect Rams secondary down its top cornerback, finishing the day with season-highs in both QBR (139.8) and passing touchdowns. He connected with six different receivers along the way, but almost exclusively focused in on Golden Tate, Anquan Boldin and Marvin Jones with TE Eric Ebron (knee) sidelined. The former No. 1 overall pick will enjoy another favorable matchup at home in Week 7 against Washington and the league's 22nd-ranked pass defense.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: 'Feeling way better' after bye week
Wilson said Thursday he is "feeling way better" after a week off to rest his left ankle and right knee sprains, the Seattle Times reports.
Wilson said he didn't know whether he was back to normal. "You'll have to see on Sunday," he said. It would be surprising if he was so soon, though, so expect another week of limited scrambling and mainly pocket passing, with an emphasis on getting rid of the ball quickly. This week, the Seahawks draw the visiting Falcons, who have allowed a league-high 14 passing touchdowns this season and rank 27th in passing yards allowed per game at 290.2.

Trevor Siemian QB | ATL
Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Tallies whopping 50 pass attempts in Week 6 loss
Siemian (shoulder) completed 30 of 50 passes for 230 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Chargers. He also gained a yard on one rush.
Siemian easily set a career high in pass attempts in a game in which the Broncos never held a lead. However, he averaged a paltry 4.6 yards per attempt while also taking a pair of sacks, although he did encouragingly stay away from turning the ball over. Siemian hasn't thrown an interception since Week 2 versus the Colts and has now completed a stellar 64.9 percent of his 151 pass attempts on the season. He's certainly been serviceable enough to win with, but couldn't generate consistent offense Thursday against a vulnerable Chargers secondary despite the return of starting tight end Virgil Green (calf). Siemian and the Broncos will look to rebound from their two-game losing streak when they take on the Texans in a showdown on Monday Night Football in Week 7.

Trevor Siemian QB | ATL
Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Listed as active Thursday
Siemian (shoulder) is listed as active Thursday at San Diego.
Siemian has thus been officially cleared to resume his role as the Broncos' starting quarterback, bringing his inactive streak to an end after one game. He'll aim to strike against a Chargers pass defense that has given up 291.6 yards per game and nine touchdown throws to QBs across five outings.

Bryce Petty QB | MIA
Jets' Bryce Petty: Returns to practice
Petty (shoulder) was a full participant at practice on Thursday.
Petty hasn't been active yet this season and Thursday marks the first time he's practiced since bruising his shoulder in the preseason. He's unlikely to play in Week 6 despite practicing since he remains a distant No.3 option behind quarterbacks Ryan Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith.

Trevor Siemian QB | ATL
Broncos' Trevor Siemian: On track to start Thursday
Siemian (left shoulder) is slated to start Thursday night's game against the Chargers, ESPN.com reports.
Siemian is bouncing back from a bruised AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder that he sustained in Week 4, which caused him to defer to Paxton Lynch in this past Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Falcons. Siemian is on track to take aim Thursday at a 1-4 San Diego squad that is allowing an average of 291.6 passing yards per game to date. Only five teams are permitting more. In his last full outing -- helming a Week 3 triumph over the Bengals -- Siemian threw for 312 yards (while completing 23 of 35 passes) and four touchdowns.

Trevor Siemian QB | ATL
Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Questionable for Thursday
Siemian (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest at San Diego, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
A limited practice participant all week, Siemian is nonetheless on the path to active status in Week 6. If he indeed misses just one game as a result of a sprained AC joint in his left non-throwing shoulder, he'll face off against the Chargers' 27th-ranked pass defense (291.6 yards per game) in Thursday's tilt.
