  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor limited at practice Wednesday

Bills starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.

With regard to his status for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London, Taylor split reps with EJ Manuel and noted that his knee is "feeling good" and that he's "taking it day-by-day," as he is "mentally getting ready for Jacksonville."

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor expects to practice Wednesday

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) expects to practice Wednesday, Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News reports.

Taylor sat out last week's loss to the Bengals due to his knee injury, but he said he is "progressing each and every day" and is feeling good.

Whether or not he will be able to return to action in Week 7 will likely depend on how much work he is able to get in at practice over the next few days, but a final call on his availability may not come until early Sunday morning.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans' Brian Hoyer: Coach makes him permanent starter

Houston head coach Bill O'Brien said Hoyer is the team's starter going forward, the Houston Chronicle reports.

While it may have been assumed that Hoyer was the team's starter, O'Brien had named him the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville game only when he made the shift from Ryan Mallett after the Indianapolis game in Week 5. The more permanent status should allay any concerns for fantasy owners when it comes to speculating on Houston's quarterback.

  • Titans QB Zach Mettenberger to split reps with injured Mariota

Titans backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger will split practice reps with starter Marcus Mariota (knee) this week, ESPN.com reports.

Mettenberger will have some opportunities to work with the first-team offense as Mariota is dealing with a sprained left MCL. Those potentially interested in playing Mettenberger this week should track Mariota's health carefully.

Report: Titans QB Marcus Mariota dealing with sprained MCL

Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota suffered a sprained MCL in the Sunday loss to the Dolphins, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Per the report, the Titans will evaluate Mariota later this week, but the injury figures to make it tough for him to play Sunday against Atlanta.

Ken Whisenhunt relayed Monday that Mariota is "walking around fine," but did acknowledge with regard to his Week 7 status that the team isn't "going to do anything to put (Mariota) into any kind of jeopardy."

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Throws for 405 yards, four touchdowns

Stafford completed 27-of-42 passes for 405 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's win over Chicago. He added 37 rushing yards on six carries.

You'd have to go back to Week 6 of the 2013 season for Stafford's last four-touchdown game and to Week 8 of 2013 for his last 400-yard game, both predating the current regime and offensive system. Much has been made about Stafford's fit with offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi's scheme, but the marriage looked quite nice on Sunday with the rifle-armed Stafford completing eight passes of 20 or more yards after the team tallied just 15 such passes in the season's first five games. Putting together this kind of performance against a top-10 pass defense like Chicago's could be expected to provide Stafford some confidence headed into Week 7's matchup against Minnesota and their middle-of-the-road pass defense.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: So-so outing Sunday

Wilson completed 18-of-30 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-23 loss to Carolina. He added 53 yards on eight carries.

Wilson salvaged his fantasy day with nice rushing numbers, and a 40-yard touchdown to Ricardo Lockette, although Lockette had to make a spectacular catch in the end zone. The Seahawks once again struggled on the opposing team's side of the field, as Steven Hauschka kicked three field goals. On a positive note, Wilson hooked up early and often with TE Jimmy Graham, who had eight receptions for a season-high 140 yards. Wilson will have a short week to prepare, traveling to San Francisco on Thursday.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Banged up in four-turnover mess

Mariota struggled mightily Sunday against the Dolphins, completing 21-of-33 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown while throwing two interceptions and losing two fumbles in a 38-10 loss.

Mariota also took a low hit from Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon and was noticeably hobbled after the play despite staying in the game. The rookie quarterback has shown his inexperience lately by struggling with ball security. The starting job is still his if healthy, but Mariota has cooled down significantly after opening the season on fire.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Decent game against Chargers

Rodgers completed 16-of-29 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Chargers. He also had two carries for 14 yards.

Rodgers did enough to win, as the Packers' defense held off a furious rally by Philip Rivers in the second half. Since Rodgers' five-touchdown explosion in Week 3, he has just five passing scores in his last three games, although the offense has been dealing with several injuries. The Packers lost another key player Sunday when rookie Ty Montgomery left with an ankle injury, but second-year wideout Davante Adams (ankle) should return soon. Make sure Rodgers is on your bench in Week 7 though, as the Packers will be on their bye.

  • Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater: Picked off twice against the Chiefs

Bridgewater completed 17-of-31 passes for 249 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's win over the Chiefs.

Bridgewater doubled his modest 2015 interception total during Sunday's game. Despite the promise he has shown, Bridgewater has yet to emerge as a legitimate fantasy option this year due in part to the emphasis on the run. Bridgewater has tossed just three scores and has run for another in five games. Though he completed four passes of 20 or more yards on Sunday, the Vikings rank third to last in such passes thus far, illustrating one of the primary knocks against Bridgewater coming into last year's draft.
