Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw two interceptions in Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Willson completed his first seven passes of the game before throwing an interception during the fourth series of the night. He was picked off again in the next on a deep pass intended for Doug Baldwin.

Wilson played into the third quarter and completed 11 of 17 passes for 126 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. He was sacked four times and finished with a 47.3 passer rating.

He is 21 of 35 for 276 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions through three preseason games. The Seahawks will host the Raiders in Thursday's preseason finale.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers received few opportunities to air it out or even pass at all in the game Friday night against Seattle. He played just one series, completing 4 of 7 for 41 yards and put three points on the board before he was replaced by Graham Harrell. Rodgers did find tight end Jermichael Finley twice for 28 yards.

Ravens backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor may have suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game against the Panthers, but that has yet to be confirmed through further testing.

"The only one injury issue was Tyrod," Ravens coach John Harbaugh told the Baltimore Sun. "He went through the concussion protocol there. So, we'll have to play that one by ear. I haven't heard anything on that. Other than that, we came out healthy. I'm very pleased about that."

Taylor left the game in the fourth quarter, after completing 3 for 4 passes for 26 yards and an interception. He added 24 yards on five carries, and appeared to suffer the injury after his final rush. 

 Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford still looked a bit rusty in the team's third preseason game Thursday against the Patriots, in what is expected to be his final tuneup before the start of the season.

Stafford passed for 166 yards, but it came on an inefficient 12 for 25 passing. Much of his damage came by way of short screen passes to running back Reggie Bush, who accumulated 103 yards on five receptions.  

Stafford did find the end zone on a 9-yard pass to tight end Tony Scheffler, his first touchdown of the preseason. He will likely make just one more brief appearance in the team's final preseason game against the Bills Aug. 29. 

Mike Shanahan considers Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins (foot) a "longshot" to play Saturday against Buffalo, the team is reporting. Rex Grossman and Pat White will most likely split the duties at that position with starter Robert Griffin III (knee) still sidelined. 

Rex Ryan is still declining to name a starting quarterback for the Jets, reports Associated Press. "Right now is not the appropriate time to name a starter because it would be incomplete," Ryan told the media on Thursday.

Rookie Geno Smith will start the third preseason game Saturday against the Giants. Mark Sanchez has performed with the same inconsistency that has plagued much of his career and motivated the Jets to draft Smith.

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Colt McCoy will be the No. 2 quarterback Sunday against the Vikings. Scott Tolzien and B.J. Daniels will enter after McCoy, but Harbaugh did not say in what order.

Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith is taking advantage Wednesday of his opportunity to practice with the first team, according to the New York Post. He has completed his first 10 passing attempts with two touchdowns. Smith is in a heated competition with Mark Sanchez for the starting job.

Sanchez has performed inconsistently in the preseason with two touchdowns, two interceptions and a QB rating of 84.7. Smith is set as the starter Saturday night against the Giants, but no starter has been named for the regular season opener.

Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins expressed relief that his right foot sprain has been deemed not serious, but he told the Free Lance-Star that playing on Saturday against Buffalo could be "pushing it." An MRI taken Tuesday revealed no serious damage.
