  • Will Levis QB | TEN

Titans' Will Levis: Logs full practice

Levis (shoulder) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Levis missed three games earlier this season with an AC joint sprain and then aggravated his throwing shoulder during Sunday's 10-6 loss to the Jaguars. He was able to finish out that game and now is practicing without limitations, setting him up for another start this Sunday against the Bengals.

  • Saints' Spencer Rattler: In mix for Week 15 start

Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi said Wednesday that he'll likely wait until Friday to choose between Rattler, Jake Haener and Derek Carr (head/hand) as the starting quarterback for Sunday's game at Green Bay, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Rattler was the emergency No. 3 quarterback for Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants, while Haener replaced Carr after the 33-year-old suffered a concussion and a left hand fracture. The combination of injuries makes Carr a longshot to play Week 15, but the Saints aren't ready to rule him out yet and reportedly don't plan to place him on injured reserve. Rattler and Haener shared practice reps Wednesday, suggesting it's not a lock that Haener starts if Carr is inactive. Rattler made three starts in October while Carr recovered from an oblique injury, completing 59.6 percent of passes for 5.8 yards per attempt with one touchdown, four turnovers and 14 sacks as the Saints lost each game by at least 18 points. It would make sense to give Haener a shot now, but it's possible Rattler builds a case for himself in practice this week.

  • Jake Haener QB | KC

Saints' Jake Haener: In mix for Week 15 start

Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi said Wednesday that he'll likely wait until Friday to decide whether Haener, Derek Carr (head/hand) or Spencer Rattler serves as the team's starting quarterback for Sunday's game at Green Bay, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Haener is arguably the favorite at this point, having taken over in Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants after Carr suffered a hand fracture and a concussion. The Saints don't plan to put Carr on injured reserve and aren't yet willing to rule him out for Week 15, but he'll face an uphill battle to clear concussion protocol and also prove that he can play with a fractured non-throwing hand. Haener split practice reps Wednesday with Rattler, whose three starts in October saw the Saints outscored by a combined margin of 110-45.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

    Chargers' Justin Herbert: Not practicing

Herbert (ankle/thigh) won't practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said earlier Wednesday that Herbert is dealing with a left ankle injury unrelated to the one he dealt with earlier this season, as well as a leg contusion, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic. Herbert left Sunday's loss to the Chiefs in the second quarter, but then returned in short order and led the Chargers offense to 17 points after halftime. He'll likely play against Tampa Bay on Sunday even if he's not 100 percent healthy, although Taylor Heinicke and Easton Stick are taking extra reps in practice at the start of the week.

  • Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Slated to practice Wednesday

Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said that O'Connell (knee) is in line to participate in Wednesday's walk-through practice, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Though O'Connell's presence on the field in any capacity three days after suffering a bone bruise in his left knee in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers is a positive indicator, Pierce wouldn't commit to the quarterback being available for the Raiders' Week 15 matchup with the Falcons on Monday night. Pierce noted that how O'Connell looks in practice this week will be the deciding factor in whether he starts this week, and if the second-year signal-caller isn't available to play, the Raiders would turn to Desmond Ridder to direct the offense.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Giants' Drew Lock: Likely to miss out on Week 15 start

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Lock is tending to a heel injury and is likely to cede starting quarterback duties to Tommy DeVito in Sunday's game against the Ravens, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Lock is in a walking boot and won't practice Wednesday, leaving DeVito to take all of the first-team reps as he prepares for what would be his second start of the season Sunday. When New York waived Daniel Jones in November, DeVito received the first chance to step in as the Giants' starter in a Week 12 loss to Tampa Bay, but DeVito suffered a forearm injury in that contest, which opened the door for Lock to start the past two games. Though Daboll said Monday that Lock would remain the starting quarterback if healthy, the 28-year-old looks like he'll have to miss at least one game after emerging from this past Sunday's 14-11 loss to the Saints with the heel issue. The Giants haven't yet discounted Lock from being available for the Week 15 contest, but assuming he's formally ruled out following the release of Friday's injury report, Tim Boyle likely will be elevated from the practice squad to serve as DeVito's backup against Baltimore.

  • Tommy DeVito QB | NE

Giants' Tommy DeVito: Trending toward Week 15 start

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that DeVito is expected to start Sunday's game against the Ravens, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Just two days ago, Daboll noted that Drew Lock would remain the team's starting quarterback if healthy, but the signal-caller is tending to a heel injury that has confined him to a walking boot and will prevent him from practicing Wednesday. While Daboll hasn't officially ruled out Lock for being available as an emergency backup Sunday, the Giants will turn the starting role back over to DeVito, who previously directed the offense in a Week 12 loss to the Buccaneers after incumbent Daniel Jones was cut. While DeVito had a few good moments over his six starts in 2023, he faded down the stretch last season and struggled to move the offense in the 30-7 loss to Tampa Bay, completing 21 of 31 pass attempts for 189 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions to go with 32 yards on seven carries. Though DeVito brings above-average rushing ability at quarterback, his substandard skills as a passer make him a low-end fantasy option in Week 15, especially now that every team has already had its bye week.

  • Tyson Bagent QB | CHI

Bears' Tyson Bagent: Mops up in blowout loss

Bagent played four snaps and completed his lone pass attempt for a six-yard gain in Sunday's 38-13 loss to the 49ers.

The second-year quarterback made his third appearance of the season Sunday, with all having come at the tail end of blowout wins or losses with starter Caleb Williams having thus far enjoyed good health during his rookie campaign. Even with the 4-9 Bears on the cusp of being eliminated from playoff contention, don't expect Bagent to get any starts over the final four contests while Chicago remains committed to Williams as its present and long-term solution under center.

  • Tim Boyle QB | TEN

Tim Boyle: Re-signs to practice squad

Boyle signed to the Giants' practice squad Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Boyle signed to the Giants' practice squad in November before moving up to the active roster to serve as the third quarterback behind Tommy DeVito and Drew Lock. Boyle was waived on Saturday ahead of New York's 14-11 loss to the Saints on Sunday, but Lock needed X-rays for an undisclosed injury after the defeat. New York coach Brian Daboll said Lock would remain the starter if he's healthy enough to go next Sunday against the Ravens, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record.

  • Ben DiNucci QB | DEN

    Ben DiNucci: Joins New Orleans

DiNucci signed to the Saints' practice squad Tuesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The quarterback was waived by the Bills in August after trying to win the third QB job behind Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky. DiNucci spent 2023 on Denver's practice squad but did not appear in a regular-season game. New Orleans starter Derek Carr is week-to-week with a hand fracture, but he also has two healthy backups in Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler.
