Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Returns to field
Jackson (illness) returned to practice Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Jackson was sent home by the Ravens on Sunday before the team's session that day and missed practice both of the following two days prior to returning to the field. During his absence, Josh Johnson worked with the first-team offense, followed by rookies Devin Leary and Emory Jones. Now that Jackson is back in action, he'll be able to continue to build rapport with his pass catchers as well as his comfort in helming Baltimore's offense in Todd Monken's second year as coordinator.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Full go for start of camp
Giants head coach Brian Daboll confirmed Wednesday that Jones (knee) is cleared for full-team drills and will lead the first-team offense at training camp, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Daboll even said Jones is "getting all the reps" with the first-team offense, essentially confirming that the 27-year-old quarterback will be New York's Week 1 starter. However, Daboll didn't shut down the possibility of Jones being benched later in the season to avoid future injury guarantees in his contract, instead noting that any such consideration is a "ways down the road," per Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post. The combination of Jones' rushing ability and an improved receiving corps in New York could make him a surprisingly useful second quarterback in fantasy leagues, but he should probably be dropped down the rankings in formats that put a premium on late-season production. In addition to the risk of a situation like Russell Wilson's in Denver late last in 2024, there's always the possibility Jones is simply benched in favor of Drew Lock for performance-related reasons, not to mention concerns about Jones' rushing production dropping after an ACL tear and lengthy rehab process.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Titans' Mason Rudolph: Competing for No. 2 job
Rudolph has split reps evenly with Malik Willis to kick off training camp and will be given a chance to win the No. 2 QB job, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Will Levis beat out Malik Willis for the starting role under center in Tennessee last season, and now Rudolph is slated to compete with the latter for a backup role. The 29-year-old spent his first four seasons in Pittsburgh and ended up throwing for 719 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions across four games in 2023. He even finished the regular season with three consecutive wins. His competition, Willis, is entering his third year with the Titans after being selected in the third-round in 2022.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Rams' Matthew Stafford: At camp after contract adjustment
Coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that Stafford is present at training camp and that the Rams have agreed to adjust his contract, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Stafford has two years remaining on his contract with Los Angeles and has expressed a desire for more guaranteed money. Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports that an adjustment to Stafford's deal is more likely than an extension, but whatever the case, both sides are now on the same page as the veteran quarterback enters his age-36 season. McVay confirmed that Stafford will be ready to practice Wednesday, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Jets' Aaron Rodgers: Unsure about playing past 2024
Rodgers said Monday on Pardon My Take that he likes the idea of playing two more seasons but isn't yet sure about anything beyond 2024, Henry McKenna of FOX Sports reports.
Rodgers mentioned wanting to play at least two more years after he was traded to the Jets last offseason, but he couldn't anticipate at the time that his first campaign would last just four snaps. He came back from an Achilles' tear and participated in a majority of the team's practices this spring, with the exception being an absence for June minicamp that the Jets were informed of ahead of time. Rodgers is back with his teammates for the start of training camp, leading an offense that made some big changes this offseason -- namely the additions of tackles Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses and Olu Fashanu to protect the veteran quarterback, as well as wideouts Mike Williams (knee) and 2024 third-round pick Malachi Corley.

Jayden Daniels QB | WAS
Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Splits starting reps to begin camp
Coach Dan Quinn said Tuesday that Daniels and Marcus Mariota are splitting first-team reps to begin training camp, Albert Breer of SI.com reports.
"When [Daniels] is ready, we'll know," Quinn said. During June minicamp it was Daniels, the second overall pick in the 2024 draft, who received most of the first-team reps, but it sounds as though the Commanders want him to now earn the starting job. All things considered, it would come as a surprise if Mariota and not Daniels opened the season under center for Washington, but the team has yet to name a Week 1 starter, and it could take until the preseason before clarity on the quarterback competition is provided. Daniels may need some time to fully acclimate to the aerial components of offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury's scheme, but even if he's rough around the edges early on, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner projects as a high-upside fantasy option right off the bat due to his tremendous dual-threat ability.

Drake Maye QB | NE
Patriots' Drake Maye: Behind Brissett to begin camp
Head coach Jerod Mayo said Tuesday that Maye will have a chance to earn the Week 1 starting job, even though Jacoby Brissett is viewed as the Patriots' No. 1 quarterback, Chris Mason of MassLive.com reports.
"If [Maye] comes out here and he lights it up... it could absolutely happen," Mayo said, before adding that Bailey Zappe or Joe Milton could also win the job if they play well enough this summer. It's a lot of coach-speak, but the main point seems to be that Brissett will get most of the first-team reps early in training camp. Mayo also denied that concerns about the New England offensive line could factor into the QB decision, which is what you'd expect him to say publicly even if it isn't true. That said, Maye's status as the third overall pick in this year's draft means he'll almost certainly make starts at some point this season, even if the O-line struggles or other circumstances make immediate success unlikely.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Viewed as starter
Patriots coach Jerod Mayo reiterated Tuesday that Brissett is viewed as the team's starting quarterback, Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Mayo said, "I don't think there's any doubt," when reporters asked him about Brissett's standing at the top of the depth chart at the beginning of training camp. No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye will almost certainly get playing time this season, and possibly sooner rather than later, but the combination of a shaky offensive line and a veteran alternative at QB could inspire the Patriots to be more patient than other franchises might be with a top-five pick. The two guys drafted ahead of Maye this spring, Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, appear well on their way to Week 1 starts.

Zack Annexstad QB | TB
Buccaneers' Zack Annexstad: Lands on active/NFI list
The Buccaneers placed Annexstad (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Annexstad can be activated at any point throughout training camp or the preseason, once able to practice. The nature of his injury remains undisclosed. When ready to practice, the undrafted rookie out of Iliinois State will be competing for a chance to stick around in a deep reserve role for Tampa Bay.
