  • Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Suits up Sunday

Bridgewater (finger/knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Bridgewater approached the Dolphins' postseason opener listed as questionable after practicing in a limited fashion this past week as he continues to work his way back from a dislocated pinkie issue on his throwing hand. While Bridgewater is in uniform against Buffalo on Sunday, he's slated to back up Skylar Thompson, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Meanwhile Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) -- who last saw game action in Week 16 -- is still sidelined.

  • Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Expected to suit up as backup

Bridgewater (finger/knee) is expected to be active for Sunday's playoff opener against the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The signal-caller, who continues to work his way back from a dislocated pinkie issue on his throwing hand, is listed as questionable for the contest after practicing in a limited fashion this week, but Schefter relays that Bridgewater is in line to back up Skylar Thompson on Sunday, with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) still out. Official confirmation of Bridgewater's availability will arrive when the Dolphins' inactives are posted ahead of the team's 1:00 ET kickoff.

  • Anthony Brown QB | BUF

Ravens' Anthony Brown: Should play Sunday in some capacity

Brown is expected to be part of a timeshare at quarterback in Sunday's wild-card game against the Bengals along with Tyler Huntley (shoulder/wrist), who is listed as questionable but is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Ravens haven't formally named a starter for their playoff opener, but Rapoport suggests that designation might not matter much, as head coach John Harbaugh is expected to use packages of plays throughout the game that cater to both quarterbacks' strengths. When healthy, Huntley has been filling in as the starter for the injured Lamar Jackson (knee), but Brown picked up his first NFL start in the Week 18 loss to Cincinnati while Huntley was out with shoulder tendinitis. Though Huntley put in a full practice Friday and looks set to play, the Ravens apparently aren't convinced that he's ready to handle the entire playbook since the shoulder issue has limited his throwing activity in recent days. The extent to which Brown may be used is difficult to pin down, but the timeshare arrangement nonetheless figures to limit the upside of both quarterbacks in DFS.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Expected to share work with Brown

Huntley (shoulder/wrist), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, is on track to play but will likely be sharing snaps at quarterback with Anthony Brown, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After sitting out last week's regular-season finale against the Bengals with right shoulder tendinitis as well as a wrist injury, Huntley said after putting in a full practice Friday that he's about 90 percent healthy heading into the rematch with Cincinnati in the wild-card round. The Ravens still weren't fully comfortable clearing Huntley heading into the weekend and are treating him as a game-time decision leading up to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, even though the expectation is that he'll play. Even so, Huntley sounds like he could cede reps to Anthony Brown, who picked up the Week 18 start. As Rapoport notes, which of the two signal-callers starts the contest may not matter much, as head coach John Harbaugh is expected to have a preferred option for various play packages depending on both quarterbacks' strengths. The possibility of Huntley not getting 100 percent of the quarterback snaps if he plays makes him a less appealing option in DFS contests than he otherwise might be.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Expected back as starter in 2023

Tagovailoa (concussion) is expected to return as the Dolphins' starting quarterback during the 2023 season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Tagovailoa is already ruled out for Sunday's wild-card game against the Bills as he continues to progress through the concussion protocol. Should Miami advance further in the playoffs, it appears that Tagovailoa could have a chance of gaining full medical clearance and retaking the field, but regardless of Sunday's outcome, the quarterback has now made a decision on his long-term playing future. The 24-year-old hasn't yet been cleared to resume football activities since suffering his second documented concussion of the season in late December, but Schefter reports that medical professionals have advised that Tagovailoa will be able to continue his NFL career when back to full health. For Sunday's wild-card matchup, Skylar Thompson is set to draw another start while Teddy Bridgewater (finger/knee) remains questionable but could be active in a backup capacity.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Leads massive comeback effort

Lawrence completed 28 of 47 passes for 288 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions in Saturday's 31-30 wild-card round win over the Chargers. He added one rush for eight yards.

Lawrence had a disastrous start to his postseason debut, as he threw four picks in the Jaguars' first six offensive possessions. When the second half kicked off, he had completed only 10 of 24 passes for 77 yards. However, Lawrence led a remarkable second-half comeback, highlighted by touchdown tosses of six, 39 and nine yards while also averaging 9.2 yards per attempt. He won't have the same margin for error in the AFC divisional round, particularly if the Jaguars line up for a matchup against Kansas City.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

Chargers' Justin Herbert: One touchdown in playoff loss

Herbert completed 25 of 43 passes for 273 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in Saturday's 31-30 wild-card round loss to the Jaguars. He added three rushes for 12 yards.

It didn't lead to a particularly notable performance from a box score standpoint, but Herbert helped lead the Chargers to 27 points in the first half. His lone touchdown came on a nine-yard completion with Gerald Everett midway through the second quarter. Herbert did struggle in the second half -- along with the entire team -- as he averaged only 5.8 yards per attempt and failed to generate offense at key points in the game. Overall, Herbert put together another fairly strong season, though he failed to top 30 touchdowns for the first time in his career and averaged a career-low 6.8 yards per attempt across 17 games.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Tosses two TDs in wild-card loss

Smith completed 25 of 35 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Saturday's 41-23 wild-card loss to the 49ers. He added 28 rushing yards on four carries and lost a fumble.

Considering the quality of the defense he was facing, it was a solid performance from Smith in his playoff debut, but the Seahawks' defense fell apart in the second half. The 32-year-old will head into free agency after a remarkable comeback season that saw him lead the NFL with a 69.8 percent completion rate and throw for 4.282 yards and 30 touchdowns while starting all 17 regular-season games for Seattle, and his playoff performance shouldn't dissuade a team in need of a veteran QB from offering him a big contract.

  • Brock Purdy QB | SF

49ers' Brock Purdy: Four TDs in playoff debut

Purdy completed 18 of 30 pass attempts for 332 yards and three touchdowns with no turnovers while rushing four times for 16 yards and another score in Saturday's 41-23 playoff win over the Seahawks.

Purdy got off to a shaky start in his first playoff appearance, overthrowing a couple of open targets early on in the face of pressure. The last pick from this year's draft was able to settle in after halftime, rattling off three touchdowns on consecutive drives to build a safe lead for his squad. The impressive rookie eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the first time this season in addition to recording the first four-touchdown game of his career. Purdy showed incredible moxie and talent in his first postseason game, which should make him an appealing target in DFS formats in the upcoming NFC divisional round.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Set for playoff debut

Lawrence (toe) is listed as active Saturday against the Chargers, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Lawrence has been no stranger to Jaguars injury reports since early December due to a sprained left big toe. Still, he's been able to suit up for each of the last five games, a stretch in which he completed 114 of 168 passes (68 percent) for 1,279 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions while also rushing 19 times for 80 yards and two more scores. Lawrence may have a tough task on hands Saturday, though, versus an L.A. defense that has allowed more than 200 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks just twice over the last seven contests.
