  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Added to injury report

Huntley was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to right shoulder tendinitis.

Huntley wasn't listed on the Ravens' initial Week 16 injury report that was released Tuesday, so the fact that he was limited a day later is noteworthy. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, which sets the stage for Thursday's practice to be pivotal with regard to both quarterbacks' chances of playing Saturday against the Falcons. If Jackson ends up being ruled out for the Week 16 contest and if Huntley is cleared to play, the latter will be in line to make his third consecutive start.

  • Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Full participant Wednesday

Bridgewater (knee) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Bridgewater hasn't been active for a game since suffering a knee injury during Miami's loss to Minnesota in Week 6, when he was filling in for an injured Tua Tagovailoa. However, Bridgewater appears to have moved past the issue and should reclaim the top backup spot for Miami's Christmas Day matchup against Green Bay. If Bridgewater is indeed available, Skylar Thompson will fall to third on the depth chart at quarterback and will likely be inactive Sunday.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Misses practice Wednesday

Tannehill (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tannehill, who was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's walk-through session, has one more chance to log practice reps ahead of Saturday's game against the Texans. At this stage of the week, however, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggests that there's doubt the veteran quarterback will be able to play this weekend. If Tannehill ends up sidelined versus Houston, Malik Willis would be in line to make his third career start.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Returns to full practice

    Allen (elbow) practiced fully Wednesday.

The quarterback had been listed as a limited participant Tuesday, but Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic relays that Allen's absence was rest-related rather than indicative of a setback. For his part, the signal-caller noted Wednesday that his right elbow "felt really good," adding that "it hasn't felt that good in a long time." With that in mind, Allen shouldn't face any restrictions this Saturday against the Bears. In the Bills' Week 15 win over the Dolphins, Allen completed 25 of 40 passes for 304 yards, four touchdowns and no picks while adding 10 carries for 77 yards.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Broncos' Russell Wilson: Full go this week, per coach

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Wednesday that Wilson (concussion) is "full go" as Sunday's game against the Rams approaches, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Per Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site, Wilson has already cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, but the team elected to err on the side of caution in holding the quarterback out for the second time this season in a Week 15 win over the Cardinals. Brett Rypien picked up the start in Wilson's stead, but he'll return to the backup role this Sunday with Wilson deemed ready to go.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Expected to start Week 16

Lawrence (toe), who is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Jets, is expected to be available to start, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport's report doesn't exactly come as a surprise, considering Lawrence has been playing through the toe injury since Week 13 and just threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns against an excellent Dallas defense this past Sunday. Lawrence will face another tough defense four days later, this time on the road and without left tackle Cam Robinson (knee) protecting his blind side. Expect Jacksonville to officially clear Lawrence for the Week 16 contest with the release of the team's inactive list 90 minutes prior to Thursday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Jackson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jackson hasn't practiced since suffering a PCL sprain in his left knee Week 13 against Denver and is in danger of missing a third consecutive game when the Ravens host the Falcons on Saturday. The team hasn't ruled Jackson out yet, but the team once again seems to be preparing for Tyler Huntley to start.

  • Trace McSorley QB | WAS

Cardinals' Trace McSorley: Starting Sunday night

McSorley has been named Arizona's starting quarterback for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury made the announcement Wednesday after ruling out Colt McCoy, who suffered a concussion during Sunday's 24-15 loss to Denver in his first start since Kyler Murray suffered a season-ending ACL tear. McSorley completed seven of 15 passes for 95 yards and two interceptions in relief, and with that fresh in mind it's possible he could be benched for recently signed David Blough if he struggles again this Sunday. McSorley had only one carry for eight yards last week, but he offers potential for rushing stats given that he ran a 4.57-second 40-yard dash time coming out of Penn State in 2019. He accrued 30 rushing touchdowns during his time at college, and his dual-threat abilities were a key factor in the Ravens selecting him with a sixth-round pick in 2019 to serve as a backup to Lamar Jackson.

  • Colt McCoy QB | ARI

Cardinals' Colt McCoy: Won't play this week

McCoy (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Trace McSorley replaced McCoy after the latter was concussed during this past Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Broncos. With McCoy not on track to clear the five-step concussion protocol ahead of the weekend, McSorley will now make his first NFL start, getting the nod over recently signed David Blough despite throwing two interceptions Sunday. McCoy's next chance to play will come Week 17 at Atlanta on Jan. 1.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Not at practice

Hurts (shoulder) isn't practicing Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Gardner Minshew is taking first-team reps after missing Tuesday's session to tend to a personal matter. Hurts, meanwhile, is absent for a second straight day due to a shoulder sprain, with multiple reports suggesting Minshew is likely to start Saturday in Dallas. The Eagles haven't ruled Hurts out yet, and they might wait until the weekend -- or at least until the release of their final injury report Thursday -- to do so even if they've already made a decision internally.
