Carson Strong QB | ARI
Carson Strong: Joins Cardinals' practice squad
The Cardinals signed Strong to their practice squad Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Strong previously worked out for Arizona on Dec. 6, and the team has since added him to their practice squad following the season-ending torn ACL that Kyler Murray suffered Monday night versus the Patriots. Since the Cardinals often suit up three quarterbacks, it wouldn't be a surprise if the undrafted rookie receives an elevation to the active roster later in the week, where he'd likely operate as the team's No. 3 pass thrower behind Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Still limited on practice estimate
Bridgewater (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
Bridgewater remains limited on Miami's injury report with a knee issue, and he hasn't been available since he started and suffered the injury Week 6 against Minnesota. If the veteran quarterback is eventually unable to gain medical clearance for an eigth consecutive matchup, rookie Skylar Thompson would serve as Tua Tagovailoa's primary backup this weekend in Buffalo.

John Wolford QB | MIN
Rams' John Wolford: Ruled out for Week 15
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that Wolford (neck) won't play Monday against the Packers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Wolford suffered a neck injury during Week 13 but was available last week and played the first series of Thursday's comeback win over Las Vegas before Baker Mayfield took over. Given Mayfield's performance, it's not shocking to see him promoted to the top job, but it appears Bryce Perkins will operate as Mayfield's backup while Wolford gets a chance to fully recover from his current neck issue.

Brock Purdy QB | SF
49ers' Brock Purdy: Set for limited practice
San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Purdy (oblique/ribs) will be a limited participant in Tuesday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Purdy was estimated as a limited participant Monday, when the 49ers issued their first Week 15 injury report despite not holding a practice session. The rookie quarterback will be able to take some reps for real Tuesday, but Shanahan suggested that Purdy's status for Thursday's matchup with the Seahawks could come down to a game-time decision. On a more optimistic note, Shanahan said that Purdy's ability to play through his oblique and rib issues will be a matter of pain tolerance, with the coach noting that the QB wouldn't make either injury worse by suiting up, per David Lombardi of The Athletic. Journeyman Josh Johnson would likely be in line to start Week 15 if Purdy can't go.

Tyler Huntley QB | BAL
Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Deemed limited practice participant
Huntley (concussion) was listed as a limited participant at Tuesday's walk-through practice.
Since the Ravens didn't take contact during practice, their first Week 15 report is merely an estimated one, but Huntley's ability to participate in the session in some capacity is nonetheless a positive sign after he exited early and entered the concussion protocol in Sunday's 16-14 win over the Steelers. Huntley remains in the protocol, but if he's able to upgrade to full practice participation by Thursday, he would be in a strong position to start Saturday's game in Cleveland. At the very least, Huntley appears a likelier bet to play than Lamar Jackson (knee), who missed his fourth consecutive practice due to a PCL sprain and could be trending toward a second straight absence this weekend. If neither Huntley nor Jackson are available to play against Cleveland, the Ravens would likely turn to practice squad members Anthony Brown and Brett Hundley to serve as their Week 15 quarterbacks.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Sits out first Week 15 practice
Jackson (knee) isn't participating in Tuesday's walk-through practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson missed his first game of the season this past Sunday against the Steelers, with Tyler Huntley stepping in under center in the Ravens' 16-14 win. Huntley exited that contest early after being diagnosed with a concussion, but he already seems to be making progress through the NFL's five-step protocols, as he took the field for Tuesday's session. Jackson, meanwhile, missed his fourth consecutive practice and doesn't look to be trending toward a return Saturday in Cleveland. If Jackson remains out and if Huntley can't clear the protocol in time, the Ravens would likely turn the offense over to undrafted rookie Anthony Brown.

Tyler Huntley QB | BAL
Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Present for practice
Huntley (concussion) was on the field at Tuesday's practice and was seen throwing passes during the portion that was open to the media, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
The Ravens won't release their first Week 15 injury report until later Tuesday, but Huntley's presence on the field suggests that he's made progress on some level since exiting Sunday's 16-14 win over the Steelers with a concussion. If Huntley is able to take part in a full-contact practice and gain clearance from an independent neurologist by week's end, he could be on tap for a second straight start Saturday against the Browns. Top quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee), who sat out last week's game, wasn't spotted at Tuesday's session, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

Colt McCoy QB | ARI
Cardinals' Colt McCoy: Likely to take over as starter
McCoy is expected to step in as the Cardinals' starting quarterback for the final four games of the season after Kyler Murray was diagnosed Tuesday with a torn ACL, Doug Haller, Jeff Howe and Larry Holder of The Athletic report.
McCoy will make his third start of the season Sunday in Denver, unless the Cardinals want to get a longer look at third-stringer Trace McSorley. The 36-year-old McCoy ended up playing the majority of Monday's 27-13 loss to the Patriots after Murray suffered what proved to be a season-ending injury three snaps into the contest. Over his three 2022 appearances to date, McCoy has completed 77 of 111 attempts (69.4 percent) for 702 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while adding 12 carries for 34 yards. He's unlikely to be much more than a low-end fantasy option at quarterback, but that could be enough for McCoy to gain some relevance in leagues that start two signal-callers or have a superflex spot.

Kyler Murray QB | MIN
Cardinals' Kyler Murray: ACL tear confirmed
Murray was diagnosed Tuesday with a season-ending torn ACL after suffering a left knee injury during Monday's 27-13 loss to New England, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Murray tried to scramble on the third play of Monday's game and fell to the turf without being touched by a defender. He was carted to the locker room and replaced by Colt McCoy, who played admirably until a game-sealing interception late in the fourth quarter. Murray will now turn his focus to rehabbing ahead of the 2023 campaign, while McCoy is poised to start Arizona's final four games of the season. The first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft will finish his fourth NFL campaign with 2,368 passing yards (66 percent completion), 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Murray also ran 67 times for 418 yards and three additional scores.

Zach Wilson QB | NO
Jets' Zach Wilson: May leapfrog Flacco on depth chart
Jets head coach Robert Saleh suggested that Wilson could be active over Joe Flacco as the team's No. 2 quarterback Sunday against the Lions, assuming Mike White (ribs) is able to start, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
After exiting on two occasions in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Bills, White visited a Buffalo-area hospital following the game as a precaution before flying back to New York City. White's medical tests didn't reveal anything overly concerning, so the Jets are tentatively labeling him as day-to-day with the expectation that he'll be ready to play this Sunday. Flacco has dressed as White's backup for the past three games since Wilson was removed as the team's starter, but the veteran signal-caller wasn't impressive in spot duty against the Bills, completing one of three pass attempts for one yard while also losing a fumble. Saleh has previously said he intends to get Wilson back on the field before season's end, and installing him as the top backup would be one way for him to potentially get some reps if White suffers another in-game injury.
