  • Panthers' Baker Mayfield: Expected to be cut Monday

The Panthers are expected to waive Mayfield on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Mayfield, who likely would have dropped down to No. 3 on Carolina's depth chart behind Sam Darnold when PJ Walker (ankle) returns to health, will instead hit waivers. The 2018 first overall pick has managed just a 6:6 TD:INT through seven appearances with the Panthers this season, and it looks like the team would rather address other needs on the 53-man roster than continue to carry him. Mayfield could draw interest on waivers from teams with a need at quarterback, such as the 49ers in the wake of Jimmy Garoppolo's season-ending foot injury.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Throws three TDs in blowout win

Prescott completed 20 of 30 pass attempts for 170 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 54-19 blowout win over the Colts.

The Cowboys got off to a slow start offensively, but Prescott got cooking with a strong two-minute drill to end the first half en route to a three-touchdown performance. The anemic yardage total was the result of Dallas' defense giving the offense incredible field position all game long via five turnovers. The 29-year-old has yet to eclipse 300 yards passing in a game this season, a feat he accomplished five times in 2021. Prescott will have a good opportunity to correct that Sunday against a Texans defense that has surrendered the fifth-most yards to opposing offenses this season (378.3 per game).

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Leads comeback win

Carr completed 16 of 30 passes for 250 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Chargers.

While it wasn't an efficient performance, Carr once again flashed his impressive chemistry with Davante Adams, who hauled in a massive 70.8 percent of the Raiders' passing yards as well as both of the team's passing TDs -- with the scores coming in the third quarter as the Raiders erased a 13-10 halftime deficit. Carr has tossed multiple touchdowns in five straight games, a streak he'll look to extend Thursday against a Rams defense that just allowed Geno Smith to set a new career high in passing yards.

  • Kyle Allen QB | BUF

Texans' Kyle Allen: Poor in loss to Browns

Allen completed 20 of 39 passes for 201 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 27-14 loss to the Browns.

Allen made his second consecutive start for the Texans, and he turned in another unimpressive performance. He averaged only 5.2 yards per attempt, a mark that is even poorer than it appears when considering that Allen accounted for 75 yards and his lone touchdown in garbage time on Houston's final offensive possession. It's unclear whether Allen will make it through the rest of the season as the team's starter, but he has not shown any ability to improve its offensive performance.

  • Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Held in check through air by Cincy

Mahomes completed 16 of 27 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Bengals. He added nine yards and another TD on two carries.

The rushing score salvaged his day to some extent from a fantasy perspective, but it was still a disappointing showing for Mahomes, who posted his lowest passing yardage total of the season after averaging 364.5 yards over his prior six games. The superstar QB will look to bounce back in Week 14 against a stingy Broncos defense that held Mahomes to 454 yards across two meetings in 2021.

  • Justin Herbert QB | LAC

Chargers' Justin Herbert: Tops 300 yards in loss

Herbert tallied 28 completions on 47 attempts for 335 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Raiders. He also tallied seven yards on five carries.

The Raiders' fearsome pass rush proved to be an issue for the Chargers all game long, as Herbert struggled to find much rhythm. The star quarterback did complete passes to eight different targets, but the overwhelming majority went to Keenan Allen, Gerald Everett, Austin Ekeler and Joshua Palmer. Los Angeles' erratic defense has essentially made Herbert a consistent top option most weeks, and it shouldn't change in the coming weeks with a number of dangerous teams still left on the schedule.

  • John Wolford QB | MIN

Rams' John Wolford: Poor showing in loss

Wolford completed 14 of 26 passes for 178 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Seahawks. He added 29 rushing yards on five carries.

The Rams' passing game predictably struggled with Matthew Stafford (neck), Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Allen Robinson (foot) all on IR, and no Los Angeles receiver topped four catches or 48 yards Sunday with Wolford running the offense. Stafford seems unlikely to play again this season, but that doesn't guarantee Wolford will keep his spot atop the QB depth chart -- especially after this performance -- as Bryce Perkins could get another look at some point. Coach Sean McVay should clarify early in the week who his starter will be for Thursday's meeting with the Raiders.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Sacked six times in rout

Tannehill completed 14 of 22 passes for 141 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Eagles.

Tannehill didn't perform badly from an efficiency perspective, but the Titans couldn't sustain many extended offensive drives. He had little protection from the offensive line, and he was sacked a season-high six times. As a result, Tannehill was held under 150 passing yards for the fourth time on the campaign. As that number indicates, Tannehill's results have been inconsistent this season, though he'll draw a more favorable matchup in Week 14 against the Jaguars.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Shows more efficiency

Pickett completed 16 of 28 passes for 197 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Falcons.

Pickett wasn't asked to do much in the win, as the Steelers ran the ball 37 times as opposed to his 28 pass attempts. As has been the case for the last few weeks, Pickett showed flashes of competency with long completions of 57, 20 and 17 yards -- the final of which was his lone touchdown of the game. Those gains also helped Pickett average 7.0 yards per attempt, the first full game in which he's broken that threshold. Despite those positives, Pickett has thrown for under 200 yards in four of his last five games and has yet to throw for multiple scores in a contest.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Career-best effort against Rams

Smith completed 28 of 39 passes for 367 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Rams.

The 367 yards were a career high for Smith, who overcame a huge revenge game from former Seahawk Bobby Wagner that included two sacks and an INT to engineer a comeback win. After the Rams took a 23-20 lead with just under three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Smith led a 10-play, 75-yard drive that ended in a DK Metcalf touchdown reception with only 36 seconds left on the clock. The 32-year-old QB has tossed multiple TD passes in six straight games and has racked up at least 275 passing yards in four straight, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 14 clash with the Panthers.
