Reid Sinnett QB | CIN
Reid Sinnett: Signs with Miami's practice squad
The Dolphins signed Sinnett to their practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
After being cut from Philadelphia's practice squad in September, Sinnett is getting another opportunity with a new team less than a month later. Barring another injury in Miami's quarterback room though, the 25-year-old signal caller will likely just spell Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson during practices until Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returns.

Reid Sinnett: Joining Miami's practice squad
The Dolphins will sign Sinnett to their practice squad Monday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Sinnett was cut from the Eagles' practice squad in early September, and he'll provide additional depth at quarterback for Miami while Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is sidelined. It's not yet clear whether Sinnett will be elevated to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Skylar Thompson QB | BAL
Dolphins' Skylar Thompson: Slated for No. 2 role
Thompson is in line to serve as the No. 2 quarterback Sunday against the Jets since Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) has been ruled out, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Although Tagovailoa underwent an MRI that came back clean over the weekend, he'll be forced to miss at least one game after he was taken off the field on a stretcher Thursday against Cincinnati. Teddy Bridgewater will serve as the starting quarterback against the Jets, while Thompson is in line to be the team's top backup. The 2022 seventh-rounder hasn't yet made his regular-season debut in the NFL.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Dolphins' Teddy Bridgewater: Set for Week 5 start
Coach Mike McDaniel confirmed Monday that Bridgewater will start in place of Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) versus the Jets in Week 5, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Bridgewater will fill in for Tagovailoa for at least this Sunday, though it remains to be seen whether he'll end up seeing a longer stretch of relief duty. The veteran game manager completed 14 of 23 passes for 193 yards with one touchdown and one interception after taking over in the second quarter of Thursday's loss to the Bengals, and with a matchup upcoming versus a suspect Jets secondary, he could be a legitimate fantasy option in multi-QB formats. Skylar Thompson figures to handle backup duties while Tagovailoa remains sidelined.

Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL
Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Out Week 5, at least
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced Monday that Tagovailoa (concussion) has been ruled out for the team's Week 5 game versus the Jets, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
McDaniel said it's too early to provide a definite timetable for Tagovailoa's return, but Teddy Bridgewater is in line for at least one start. Tagovailoa is in the Dolphins' practice facilities but still in the league's concussion protocol, which he'll need to clear fully before retaking the field can be discussed. Though it's relieving that MRI results on Tagovailoa's neck came back negative, it seems likely that Miami takes a cautious approach to his recovery, so the possibility of Bridgewater making multiple starts can't be ruled out.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Panthers' Sam Darnold: Not ready for return yet
Darnold (ankle) is still not close to returning from injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Darnold is technically already eligible to come off IR, but Schefter reports a source saying it's "going to be a while" before he's healthy enough to retake the field. When Darnold initially suffered a left high-ankle sprain in late August, he was given a recovery timetable of 4-6 weeks. Once back to full health, it's possible he could push for Carolina's starting job again, at least if the quality of Baker Mayfield's play doesn't begin to improve.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Optimism for Week 5
The Giants are optimistic that Jones (ankle) will be able to suit up Week 5 versus the Packers in London, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jones is scheduled to undergo more tests on the left ankle sprain that briefly knocked him out of Sunday's 20-12 win over the Bears, but he looks like he'll have a fair shot at being available in London. What remains to be seen is whether New York will have the option of deploying as run-heavy an approach as it did against Chicago, when the quarterback had six carries for 68 yards and two touchdowns prior to his departure. With backup Tyrod Taylor (concussion) also nursing an injury, the team may need to add another quarterback to the roster this week, even if Jones is cleared to play.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Makes light work of top defense
Mahomes completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 249 yards, three touchdowns and an interception while adding 34 rushing yards on four carries in a 41-31 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Mahomes and the entire Kansas City offense were nearly flawless on the road against one of the league's top defensive units entering Week 4. The only drawbacks from a fantasy perspective were the lack of yardage -- due to a constant positive field-position advantage from the special-teams unit -- and the one interception thrown late in the fourth quarter. The superstar quarterback otherwise looked unbothered by a defense that held Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to 14 points last week. Mahomes just endured a brutal three-week stretch of opposing defenses, so his fantasy GMs will be relieved to see a soft matchup at home against the Raiders next Monday.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Efficient performance in victory
Tannehill completed 17 of 21 passes for 137 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Colts.
Tannehill attempted only six passes in the second half as the Titans were content to run out the clock on the Colts. However, he worked efficiently in the first two quarters, completing 12 of 15 passes with both of his touchdowns. Tannehill has reached 30 pass attempts in only one game this season, so it's hard to rely on him to post consistent fantasy production.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Stifled in win over Denver
Carr completed 21 of 34 passes for 188 yards without a touchdown or interception in Sunday's 32-23 win over the Broncos. He added 40 rushing yards on seven carries.
It's the first time this season Carr has failed to reach 250 passing yards or toss a TD, but he was able to lean on a huge performance from Josh Jacobs and the Raiders' first defensive touchdown since 2019 to secure the team's first win of 2022. He'll likely need to be a lot more productive in Week 5, as Las Vegas travels to Kansas City for a clash with Patrick Mahomes.
