Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Active versus Chargers
Elliott (thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Elliott was limited in practice this past week, but he'll give it a go Sunday against the 4-7 Chargers. While the Patriots' fluid QB situation, plus potentially rainy conditions, could lead to the team leaning toward the run as long as Sunday's game flow permits, Elliott (who has notched a total of 95 carries and 20 catches in 11 games to date) figures to continue to work behind top back Rhamondre Stevenson in Week 13, a context that limits his fantasy lineup utility to deeper formats.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Gets green light for Week 13 game
Hall (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Hall had been listed as questionable heading into the weekend after the hamstring injury rendered him a limited participant in the Jets' first two Week 13 practice sessions, but much of the concern about his status was erased once he practiced fully Friday. Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is also active after being listed as questionable heading into Sunday, but Hall should continue to lead the way in terms of snaps and touches out of the Jets backfield so long as the game remains competitive. While drawing more focus from defenses in recent weeks, Hall has struggled to just 2.6 yards per carry over his last six games, but he's seen ample involvement in the passing game during that stretch (30-261-2 receiving line on 36 targets) to help make up for some of his shortcomings as a rusher.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Facing 3-to-5-week recovery
Taylor is expected to require 3-to-5 weeks to recover from the right thumb surgery he underwent Wednesday in Los Angeles, sources tell Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The estimated recovery timeline provided by Rapoport differs slightly from the one Colts owner Jim Irsay initially offered up Tuesday, when he said the star running back would be sidelined for 2-to-3 weeks, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Because it's not a given that Taylor will need to miss at least four games while recovering from the procedure, the Colts will hold off on placing him on injured reserve with the hope that he'll be ready to play Week 16 in Atlanta or possibly even Week 15 versus Pittsburgh. At least for the next two games, however, Zack Moss is primed to step in as the Colts' lead back, a role he handled between Weeks 2 and 4 while Taylor was completing his recovery from January ankle surgery. Moss played more than three-fourths of the Colts' offensive snaps in each of those three contests while averaging 24.0 touches per game, so he could end up handling one of the heavier workloads among all backs in the league for however long Taylor is sidelined.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Expected to take on Chargers
Elliott (thigh) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Elliott logged three consecutive limited sessions in practice this week and is officially listed as questionable, but the expectation is that he will suit up versus Los Angeles. He hasn't scored since Week 7, and while continuing to work behind top backfield option Rhamondre Stevenson, Elliott has handled double-digit carries in just three of 11 appearances on the season. He should be officially announced as active roughly 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Jets' Dalvin Cook: Expected to be available Sunday
Cook (shoulder) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Cook and top back Breece Hall (hamstring) are both listed as questionable for the Week 13 matchup, but the Jets expect to have both players available. In the five games since New York's bye week, Cook has surpassed two carries on only one occasion, though he did match his season-best mark with three targets in the Jets' Week 12 loss to the Dolphins. Cook's availability for Sunday's game will be confirmed when the Jets release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Expected to suit up vs. Falcons
Hall (hamstring) is expected to take the field Sunday versus Atlanta, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hall is officially listed as questionable for Week 13, despite coming off a full practice session Friday. He appears to be trending in the right direction for Sunday's contest, as does veteran backup Dalvin Cook (shoulder), who is also listed as questionable. Official word on the statuses of Hall and Cook will arrive when the Jets release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Adam Prentice FB | DEN
Saints' Adam Prentice: Elevated ahead of Week 13
Prentice was elevated to the Saints' active roster Saturday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Prentice is joining New Orleans' active roster for the second consecutive week. The 26-year-old fullback has appeared in seven games for the Saints this season, recording 10 total yards on two touches. He's also been a key special-teamer for New Orleans, playing 70 snaps on special teams and logging two total tackles.

James Robinson RB | NO
Packers' James Robinson: Joins active roster
The Packers elevated Robinson to their active roster Saturday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Green Bay will be without both Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) in Week 13, so Robinson's elevation will ensure depth at running back behind AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor. Robinson's most recent action came in 2022 with the Jets and Jaguars, when he logged 476 total yards on 121 touches.
-
Travis Etienne RB | NO
Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Questionable, expected to play
Etienne (ribs) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bengals, but head coach Doug Pederson is expecting the running back to play, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
The injury designation leaves open the possibility Etienne could miss the primetime matchup, but Pederson seemed relatively confident following Saturday's practice the third-year back would be available. Expect the backup, D'Ernest Johnson, to still be a factor in the game plan, particularly if the Jaguars jump out to a commanding lead early on. Official confirmation regarding Etienne's status will arrive upon the release of Jacksonville's inactives ahead of the team's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff Monday.

Deneric Prince RB | NE
Chiefs' Deneric Prince: Elevated ahead of Sunday's contest
The Chiefs elevated Prince to their active roster Saturday.
The rookie running back's elevation likely comes in response to Jerick McKinnon (groin) being ruled out for Sunday night's affair. Prince has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he's been with Kansas City's practice squad since the end of August. He'll more than likely back up Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the Chiefs' Week 13 outing.
