  • Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Not playing Sunday night

McKinnon (groin) was downgraded to out Saturday and will not play in Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

Sunday's absence will make it two straight for McKinnon, who at least managed to practice in limited fashion this week. A fantasy darling for many last season, the multi-talented back has rarely been used in 2023, tallying just 13 carries for 30 yards and a paltry 19 receptions for 155 yards in 10 contests to date. Expect Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Deneric Prince to spell starter Isiah Pacheco on occasion.

  • Tyler Goodson RB | ATL

Colts' Tyler Goodson: Elevated to active roster

The Colts elevated Goodson to their active roster Saturday.

Goodson is set to make his season debut on the Colts' active roster. With Jonathan Taylor (thumb) sidelined, he will provide depth in the backfield behind Zack Moss and Trey Sermon. The Iowa product also figures to be a candidate for special teams snaps.

  • Dolphins' Chris Brooks: Will not return Week 13

Brooks (ankle) will not return from injured reserve Sunday against the Commanders, as the Dolphins have downgraded him to out, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Brooks was designated to return from IR earlier in the week, which opened a 21-day window for him to be activated. With the Dolphins opting to err on the side of caution, his next opportunity to be activated will come in the Week 14 tilt against the Titans. The 23-year-old has been sidelined since Week 6 due to an ankle injury.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: On track to play Monday

Etienne (ribs) is expected play Monday against the Bengals according to head coach Doug Pederson, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

The Jaguars haven't released their final injury report of the week, but suffice to say it seems as if the star back will be available for the primetime contest. Since the team's Week 9 bye, Etienne has struggled to produce yards, as he's averaged 3.3 yards per carry on 43 attempts while failing to reach the end zone in each of the last three outings.

  • Kareem Hunt RB | KC

Browns' Kareem Hunt: Cleared for Sunday's game

Hunt (groin) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Rams after practicing fully Friday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Hunt opened the week with an absence Wednesday, but he returned to a limited session Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday. With Hunt officially in the clear for Week 13 action, he'll continue to be part of a 1-2 backfield combo that also features fellow RB Jerome Ford. Through nine games in that role, Hunt has averaged a modest 9.9 carries and 31.8 rushing yards, but the six rushing scores he's notched in that span offers a pace that keeps him on the fantasy lineup radar.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Won't play vs. Lions

Miller (ankle) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Lions, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Miller will miss his third straight game in Week 13 due to an ankle sprain he sustained in Week 9 versus the Bears. In his absence, Jamaal Williams will continue to be New Orleans' primary change-of-pace option at tailback behind Alvin Kamara.

  • Dolphins' Chris Brooks: Could play Week 13

Brooks (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

The rookie running back out of BYU was able to log a week of limited practice sessions, and he has a chance to appear in his first game since Week 6 this Sunday. The Dolphins have yet to activate Brooks to their active roster though, which must be done in order for the 23-year-old to play in Week 13.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Questionable after limited practices

Elliott (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Elliott was limited in all three of New England's practices throughout the week. If he's able to play, he'll likely work in his customary role as the primary backup to Rhamondre Stevenson. Should Elliott sit, more opportunities could be available for JaMycal Hasty or receiving back Ty Montgomery. The Patriots will have a short week after Sunday's game, with a Thursday night trip to Pittsburgh on the docket Week 14.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Another limited practice Friday

Etienne (ribs) remained limited at practice Friday.

Etienne will have one more chance to upgrade to full participation and avoid the final injury report Saturday before the Jaguars host the Bengals on Monday Night Football. He briefly left the Week 12 win over Houston in the first half with what was deemed a chest injury at the time, but Etienne promptly returned and handled his usual heavy workload, finishing with 86 yards from scrimmage on 24 touches. If Etienne's volume is impacted Monday, D'Ernest Johnson and possibly Tank Bigsby would be in line for additional touches against a Bengals defense that's allowing 4.6 yards per carry.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

    49ers' Jordan Mason: Deemed questionable

Mason (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Mason has been restricted to special teams of late and isn't likely to get any playing time on offense in a crucial NFC showdown unless Christian McCaffrey or Elijah Mitchell suffers an injury. If Mason doesn't end up playing, it'll merely impact the 49ers' special teams units, where he's taken double-digit snaps every week this year.
