  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Active in Week 9

Miller (illness) is listed as active Sunday against the Bears, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Miller popped up on the Saints' final Week 9 practice report Friday with an illness that kept him out of drills, but the ailment won't impact his availability for Sunday's game. Since Jamaal Williams returned from his IR stint Week 7, Miller has been sparsely used behind Alvin Kamara and Williams, turning just four touches into 19 yards from scrimmage over the last two contests. A similar role likely is on the docket for Miller this time around.

  • Corey Clement RB | ARI

    Cardinals' Corey Clement: Promoted Saturday

The Cardinals elevated Clement to their active roster Saturday.

Clement has spent the better part of the last two years on Arizona's practice squad, but with Emari Demercado (toe) missing this Sunday's contest, Clement has been added to the team's active roster. The veteran running back has appeared in two games for the Cardinals this season, playing strictly on special teams.

  • Chiefs' La'Mical Perine: Elevated Saturday

The Chiefs promoted Perine to their active roster Saturday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Perine has spent the majority of the year on Kansas City's practice squad, but with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) missing this Sunday's contest, Perine has been added to the team's active roster. The 25-year-old running back's last in-game action came in 2021, when he recorded 31 rushing yards in four games with the Jets.

  • Kenny McIntosh RB | SEA

Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Not returning yet

McIntosh (knee) was not activated off injured reserve Saturday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

The Seahawks still have two weeks to activate McIntosh off IR after the rookie was designated to return to practice earlier this week, so there doesn't seem to be much of a rush. Expect Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and Deejay Dallas to once again all factor in the backfield.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Nine total touches

Spears rushed the ball five times for 18 yards in Thursday's 20-16 loss to the Titans. He added four receptions on six targets for four yards.

Spears put up his lowest yardage total since Week 3, though he was on the field for his highest snap rate (60 percent) and also saw the highest target total of his young career. That said, while his overall production is underwhelming, his usage was encouraging. He could continue to see growing usage if the Titans continue to lose and fall out of playoff contention.

  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Won't play Sunday

Scott has been deemed out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to personal reasons.

Scott has appeared in all but one of Philly's eight games this season, and it's unclear what issue(s) will keep him from playing Week 9. The 5-foot-6 running back has played just eight offensive snaps this season, so his absence could leave Rashaad Penny to play an increased role on special teams while D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell continue to handle the bulk of the Eagles' rushing workload.

  • Jonathan Ward: Heads back to practice squad

Ward reverted to the Titans' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Ward was elevated from the practice squad for the second week in a row ahead of Thursday's loss to the Steelers. However, he saw even less playing time than he did in Week 8, as he played just 12 snaps on special teams versus Pittsburgh. Ward will likely be the Titans' first option to move up to the active roster so long as running backs Hassan Haskins (undisclosed) and Julius Chestnut (hamstring) remain on IR; however, Ward is still unlikely to see significant playing time so long as Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears remain healthy.

  • Kenny McIntosh RB | SEA

Seahawks' Kenny McIntosh: Status unclear for Week 9

McIntosh (knee) was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game versus the Ravens, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

McIntosh was designated to return to practice Wednesday after spending the first eight weeks of the season on IR with a knee injury. While the 23-year-old was a full participant in each practice Week 9, it appears he may not be fully ready to suit up for Sunday's game against Baltimore. McIntosh will also need to be activated to the 53-man roster in order to suit up against the Ravens, though he'd likely see little offensive playing time with fellow running backs Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas all healthy.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Questionable with illness

Miller is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears due to an illness, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Miller was unable to practice Friday due to the ailment, leaving his availability up in the air for Sunday's contest. Even if available, the 21-year-old is unlikely to have a notable offensive role since Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams are both healthy.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Set to play in Week 9

Jones (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game versus the Rams.

For a second straight week, Jones avoided a designation on the Packers' final injury report of the week, but the team is humming a different tune regarding the running back this time around. After saying last Friday that he didn't think Jones was "100 percent by any stretch," coach Matt LaFleur told Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com this Friday that Jones "looked good, had a good week," and he's "ready to cut him loose." If Jones indeed is back to form, he could be good for his typical workload, which amounted to 16.6 touches for 92.3 yards from scrimmage per game and 47 total touchdowns in 62 games from 2019 through 2022.
