Coach Sean McVay said Tuesday he expects Williams (knee) to return from IR in time to suit up versus the Cardinals in Week 12, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Williams' earliest eligible return date from injured reserve is Week 12, and it looks like he's on track to meet that timeline. Los Angeles currently has a bye this week and will then take on the Seahawks in Week 11, which will give Darrell Henderson and Royce Freeman another chance to lead the backfield, but it appears Williams will be back in the mix for a road game in Arizona on Nov. 26. It remains to be seen, however, whether he will immediately regain his No. 1 role, or whether he will return to a committee situation.

Vaughn rushed four times for nine yards and brought in his only target for minus-1 yard in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

The reserve back was in for only five plays from scrimmage, and he was busy on each one. Vaughn did next to nothing with the opportunity, however, and he's only reached double-digit rushing yards once this season. The 2020 third-round pick is averaging 1.8 yards per carry through six games and doesn't carry any fantasy value at the moment.

Edmonds rushed three times for minus-5 yards and and secured his only target for minus-1 yard in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

Edmonds couldn't get anything going with his scant opportunities and logged one fewer carry than Ke'Shawn Vaughn, despite outpacing him by three snaps. Edmonds was still in on only eight offensive plays, however, and with Rachaad White a capable three-down back thanks to his outstanding pass-catching ability, the former's role is likely to remain modest for the time being.

Kelley carried the ball three times for 18 yards. He also caught his lone target for four yards in the 27-6 win over the Jets on Monday.

Austin Ekeler unsurprisingly handled the majority of the load, with the duo sporting a 16-4 disparity in touches in a game that felt over by the first quarter. As has been the case whenever the Pro Bowl running back has been healthy, Kelley is simply a fantasy insurance policy for the talented multi-dimensional threat.

Ekeler carried the ball 14 times for 47 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two of his seven targets for 23 yards in the 27-6 win over the Jets on Monday.

Ekeler punched in both touchdowns from a couple of yards out, but he uncharacteristically had a number of drops, specifically in the first half, that could have produced far more yardage. The Chargers offense hardly had to put much effort in this one as Zach Wilson and the Jets could barely cross the 50-yard line. Expect the mundane offensive figures to look a bit different Week 10 against a much better team overall in the Lions.

Hall rushed 16 times for 50 yards and caught all four of his targets for 10 yards in Monday's 27-6 loss to the Chargers.

Hall had multiple double-digit gains wiped out by penalties, which contributed to the running back posting his fewest yards from scrimmage since Week 3. He came in averaging 20 touches over his previous three games and hit that number on the nose in this one, so Hall continues to handle the bulk of the workload in the Jets backfield. Even behind one of the league's least effective and most banged-up offensive lines, Hall's combination of volume and playmaking will make him a strong Week 10 fantasy option against the Raiders.

Williams compiled three rushes for six yards and hauled in two of three targets for six yards during Sunday's 24-17 victory against Chicago.

Williams played his second-highest percentage of offensive snaps this season (42), but he still found himself in a backseat role to leading rushers Alvin Kamara (26) and Taysom Hill (52). These two accounted for 20 of the team's 27 carries Sunday, as they now lead the team in rushing yards this season with 346 and 255, respectively. Williams showed that he could be an effective stopgap running back while Kamara was suspended to begin the season. But it looks like he'll be relegated to a minimal role now that the team is fully leaning into an effective one-two punch with Kamara and Hill.

Herbert (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Monday's practice estimate.

Herbert originally suffered a right high-ankle sprain in Week 5 at Washington, and after missing the last five games while on injured reserve, he was designated to return by the Bears on Monday. The team held only a walkthrough to begin Week 10 prep and may not have an actual practice on the docket as it prepares for Thursday's game against the Panthers, but Herbert's ability to handle every rep Monday generally is a good sign for his chances of playing this week. As long as Herbert continues to sit out, D'Onta Foreman will be Chicago's top running back, with rookie Roschon Johnson backing him up.

The Chiefs reverted Perine to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Perine was elevated for the second time this season ahead of Sunday's Week 9 win over Miami in Germany, and he logged four offensive snaps in that contest, gaining one yard on one rush and failing to bring in his only target. The 25-year-old's opportunity in that game came as a result of Clyde Edwards-Helaire sitting out due to an illness. Kansas City is on bye this week, which could give Edwards-Helaire ample time to recover and thus render Perine's services unnecessary for Week 11.

Clement reverted to Arizona's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Clement played five snaps in Week 9 at Cleveland, all on special teams. Because he's now been elevated the maximum amount of times this season, the Cardinals would have to sign Clement to the active roster in order for him to suit up for Arizona again in 2023.
