Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Ravens' Melvin Gordon: Promoted to active roster
Gordon was elevated to the Ravens' active roster Saturday.
Gordon saw his first action of the season in Week 3 against the Colts, and he rushed for 32 yards on 10 carries while adding two catches for 23 yards. This is the third time he has been elevated from the practice squad, which means that the Ravens would have to sign Gordon to their active roster if they wish to play him for the rest of the season. He's set to take on the RB3 role for Sunday's contest against the Browns, with Gus Edwards out of the NFL's concussion protocols and Justice Hill (foot) trending toward playing in a crucial divisional matchup.

Derrick Gore RB | WAS
Commanders' Derrick Gore: Promoted to active roster
The Commanders elevated Gore to the active roster Saturday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
The move corresponds with running back Chris Rodriguez (illness) ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Eagles. If Gore is active, he should fill in as the RB3 behind Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson

Royce Freeman RB | CHI
Rams' Royce Freeman: Bumped to active roster
The Rams elevated Freeman to their active roster Saturday.
This is the third time Freeman has been elevated by the Rams this season, meaning that the team will have to sign him to their active roster if it wishes to play him for the rest of the season. The 2018 third-round pick has played exclusively on special teams in his two appearances and would figure to reprise that role against the Colts on Sunday if he sees the field.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Doubtful for Monday
Barkley (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Monday's contest against the Seahawks, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Head coach Brian Daboll left the door open Saturday for Barkley to make a quick return despite a reported high-ankle sprain, but it appears as if the Pro Bowl back will not play Monday after a smattering of LP tags throughout the week. As a result, Matt Breida figures to be set up for a prominent role against Seattle, with Gary Brightwell likely also mixing into the rotation.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Status in question
Ingram (neck) has drawn a questionable tag ahead of Sunday's game in San Francisco, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Ingram popped up on the injury report as a limited participant Thursday. He subsequently missed Friday's practice, so he is not trending in the right direction. Still, final confirmation on his status is not likely to come until Sunday morning. Emari Demercado would be in line to back up James Conner in the backfield if Ingram is ultimately unable to suit up.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Trending toward playing
Hill (foot), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game, is trending toward playing against the Browns, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Hill was a full participant in Friday's practice, which does give some hope to fantasy managers that the running back will be active come Sunday. Expect Gus Edwards and Hill to split time in the backfield, with likely practice-squad callup Melvin Gordon also mixing in occasionally on passing downs. Expect the Ravens to confirm the status of the 25-year-old Hill prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Elijah Mitchell RB | NE
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Gets questionable tag for Sunday
Mitchell is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals after he was a non-participant in Friday's practice due to a knee injury.
A Week 4 home matchup with a Cardinals squad that's a two-touchdown underdog profiles as a prime opportunity for Mitchell to take on added work behind lead back Christian McCaffrey, but the knee injury now threatens Mitchell's availability for the matchup between NFC West rivals. Though Mitchell was first added to the injury report Friday, head coach Kyle Shanahan told Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com that the running back actually sustained the injury in Thursday's session after getting tripped up. If Mitchell ends up being inactive ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, Jordan Mason would be the next man up for work behind McCaffrey. Tyrion Davis-Price, meanwhile, would be active for the first time this season as the 49ers' No. 3 back.

Joshua Kelley RB | TEN
Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Poised for lead role again
Kelley appears on track for his third straight start at running back Sunday against the Raiders with Austin Ekeler (ankle) listed as doubtful for the contest.
With three straight limited practices this week, Ekeler took a major step forward in his recovery from the high-ankle sprain that has kept him sidelined the past two games. However, with a bye on tap Week 5, the Chargers appear inclined to err on the side of caution with their lead back, who looks set to miss a third straight game before likely returning to action for a Week 6 matchup with the Cowboys on Oct. 16. Kelley is thus set up for another look as the Chargers' No. 1 back, though he hasn't exactly made the most of his previous two opportunities. Despite playing more than 70 percent of the snaps on offense in both of the past two games, Kelley has combined for 51 yards on 24 carries and one reception for five yards while failing to find the end zone.

Boston Scott RB | PIT
Eagles' Boston Scott: No Week 4 injury designation
Scott (concussion) practiced fully again Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Scott managed to participate fully in each of Philadelphia's three practices, and his lack of an injury designation suggests the running back has cleared concussion protocol. With a fully healthy backfield for the first time since Week 1, the Eagles will likely use Scott and Kenneth Gainwell in change-of-pace roles behind D'Andre Swift, while Rashaad Penny could be relegated back to inactive status, which was the case in the season opener.

Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI
Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Questionable against Buffalo
Ahmed (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
After missing the 70-20 win over the Broncos in Week 3, Ahmed was a limited participant in all three of Miami's practices throughout Week 4. If he suits up Sunday, Ahmed will likely be relegated to a third-string role behind Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane, both of whom scored four touchdowns in Ahmed's absence against Denver.
