Benjamin had two rushes for three yards during Sunday's 10-7 loss against Carolina. Over 15 games between Arizona, Houston and New Orleans in 2022, he recorded 73 rushing attempts for 313 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 25 receptions (34 targets) for 193 yards

Benjamin finished the season in a reserve role alongside David Johnson, as both backs joined New Orleans when No. 2 running back Mark Ingram went down with a season-ending knee injury in early December. Benjamin ultimately had a slightly smaller workload compared to the 31-year-old Johnson, though neither saw any significant action with Alvin Kamara and do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill shouldering the Saints' rushing duties over the final four games. Instead, the vast majority of the 23-year-old's production came over 10 games with the Cardinals this season before he was waived by the team Nov. 14. Benjamin also never carved out a significant role on special teams following his departure from Arizona. He will now enter the final year of his rookie contract during the 2023 season.

Sermon finished the season with just two carries for 19 yards and appeared in only two games.

Sermon was claimed off waivers by the Eagles shortly before the start of the season, but his new team evidently didn't view the second-year back as anything more than organizational depth. At no point was there even a hint that he'd move higher than fourth on the depth chart, and the Eagles never dressed more than three backs in a game. With Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell suiting up for every game, and Boston Scott missing just a pair, that left very little for Sermon to do.

Gainwell carried the ball five times for 35 yards and record a seven-yard reception in Sunday's win over the Giants.

Gainwell didn't make a big impact on the regular-season finale, though his 35 rushing yards represented his second-highest mark of the season. With starting running back Miles Sanders staying healthy all season and finishing eighth in the league with 259 carries, the Eagles didn't have much room left over for Gainwell to carve out a larger role on offense. The second-year back's 4.5 yards-per-carry average was a small step forward from his 4.3 YPC as a rookie, but he took steps back in carries (53), yards (240), receptions (23), receiving yards (169) and total touchdowns (four).

Davis-Price played eight snaps in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, carrying eight times for 27 yards.

Davis-Price saw action in only six games during his rookie season and finished with a lowly 2.9 yards-per-carry average on 34 totes while failing to find the end zone and going without a target in the passing game. The LSU product had an opportunity to earn significant playing time following starter Elijah Mitchell's Week 1 injury, but he ultimately fell behind undrafted rookie Jordan Mason and practice-squad veteran Tevin Coleman on the depth chart at multiple points throughout the season. Davis-Price didn't show enough as a pure runner in limited opportunities, and he was a non-factor in the passing game. Much like 2021 third-round pick Trey Sermon, Davis-Price may find himself on the roster bubble heading into training camp in 2023 after an uninspiring rookie season.

McCrary signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns on Wednesday, Chad Krispinsky of WKBN.com reports.

McCrary opened training camp with the Ravens but he then found his way to Carolina after not making the team's initial 53-man roster. He was then cut by the Panthers Dec. 13 and remained a free agent. He'll work to earn a role in Cleveland next season.

Wilson was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to an illness, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Wilson now has two more chances to return to a full session prior to Sunday's wild-card game against the Bills. As long as he's able to suit up this weekend, Wilson could be in line for a hefty workload, given that fellow running back Raheem Mostert is dealing with a thumb injury that clouds his status for the postseason opener.

Williams finished the 2022 campaign with 22 rushing attempts for 109 yards and a touchdown across 17 appearances. He also caught 13 of 14 targets for 61 yards and complied 605 return yards.

Williams was drafted by the Falcons in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft as a defensive back and return man, but the Boise State product was converted to running back ahead of the 2022 campaign. With Damien Williams out of the picture after Week 1 due to a rib injury, Williams quickly worked his way up the running back depth chart and saw a decent role during the campaign given his circumstances. However, Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson dominated the backfield work, which left limited opportunities for Williams and Caleb Huntley. Williams has two years remaining on his rookie contract and figures to have a solid shot at a roster spot next year due to his return abilities, but he'll also have a chance to carve out a larger offensive role following a full offseason at his new position.

Edwards (concussion) isn't practicing Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Edwards suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Bengals and now is in danger of missing a wild-card round matchup with the same team seven days later. The Ravens may also be missing quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) and perhaps even backup Tyler Huntley (shoulder), potentially setting up J.K. Dobbins to be the focal point of an undermanned offense.

Mostert (thumb) isn't practicing Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Mostert's absence to begin the week of practice was fully expected after head coach Mike McDaniel said the running back suffered a "significant break" to his thumb in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 11-6 win over the Jets. Backfield mate Jeff Wilson could see a larger share of the workload than usual even if Mostert ends up playing, as the thumb fracture will impact his ability to catch passes at the very least.

Haskins carried two times for three yards and hauled in both of his targets for 13 yards in Saturday's 20-16 loss to the Jaguars.

in the Titans' season-ending loss, Haskins served as the top complement to lead back Derrick Henry, playing 15 of the Titans' 72 snaps on offense (21 percent). The fourth-round pick out of Michigan finishes his rookie season with 25 carries for 93 yards and 11 receptions for 57 yards over 15 games.
