Ahmed took his only carry for seven yards during Sunday's 11-6 win over the Jets.

Ahmed handled his usual rotational role Week 18, but depending on the status of Raheem Mostert (finger) coming off a fractured thumb, Ahmed could be in line for increased opportunities during the wild-card playoff matchup against the Bills. The Dolphins will be without Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) in Buffalo, so the team could lean more on the running game than usual.

Doaks signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on Tuesday.

Doaks will return to Houston's organization again in 2023 after spending the 2022 campaign on and off of the Texans' practice squad. The 24-year-old has yet to make his NFL debut after getting selected by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft and he'll look to carve out a role on the Texans this offseason.

Dillon rushed nine times for 33 yards and failed to reel in any of his three targets in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Lions.

The 24-year-old running back was in a near-even split in playing time with Aaron Jones, as the two backs played 33 and 31 of the Packers' 60 offensive snaps, respectively. Dillon will enter the final year of his rookie contract in the 2023, and with Jones already on the books, a timeshare arrangement between the two will likely remain in place for another season. Dillon finished the season with 770 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 28 catches for 206 yards.

Mason rushed eight times for 28 yards and wasn't targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 38-13 win over Arizona.

The 49ers welcomed back Elijah Mitchell (knee) from injured reserve, but Mason still received 14 snaps on offense in the regular-season finale. The Georgia Tech product did an admirable job backing up Christian McCaffrey in Mitchell's absence this season, racking up 258 yards on 6.0 yards per carry in limited action over the course of his rookie campaign. Mason will likely see his role limited to special-teams duty in the wild-card round matchup with Seattle this weekend with San Francisco's backfield now at full strength.

Goodson signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Tuesday.

Goodson joined the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa this past offseason. He competed for the team's No. 3 running spot during the preseason but he was eventually waived in late August before quickly rejoining via the practice squad. Goodson was bumped up to the active roster for the Week 17 win over Minnesota, though he never saw the field against the Vikings. The 22-year-old is now set to compete with Patrick Taylor for a depth role this offseason.

Taylor signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on Tuesday.

Taylor has spent all three seasons of his NFL career with New England, though he bounced back and forth between the practice squad and active roster this regular season. As a result, the 25-year-old recorded a career-low 10 carries in 2022 while appearing in fewer than five games for the first time in his career. Taylor will now look to compete for a roster spot among the Patriots' crowded running backs corps heading into the 2023 campaign.

The Steelers signed Huntley to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Huntley spent the preseason with Philadelphia before being waived as part of the team's final roster cuts in late August. The third-year running back then spent time on and off the Steelers' practice squad before finishing the season on this practice squad. In six career games, Huntley has recorded 18 carries for 70 yards, and he'll now look to carve out a role on the active roster heading into the 2023 campaign.

The Steelers signed Teague to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Teague first signed with Pittsburgh on Aug. 3 but he was waived from IR with an injury settlement just three weeks later while dealing with an ankle issue. The running back then re-signed with the team's practice squad Nov. 23 before he was once again waived in early December. The undrafted rookie will now look to establish a more consistent role with Pittsburgh this offseason.

Dallas (ankle/quadriceps) was listed as a non-participant for Tuesday's walk-through practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Though Dallas was not on the field for the start of prep for Saturday's wild-card game in San Francisco, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune relays that the running back is fully expected to suit up this weekend. After Travis Homer (ankle) was moved to injured reserve prior to last week's regular-season finale, Dallas took over as the top change-of-pace option behind Kenneth Walker in Sunday's 19-16 overtime win over the Rams. Dallas played 11 of the Seahawks' 70 snaps on offense and finished with two carries for 29 yards and one catch for minus-3 yards.

McCaffrey (ankle/knee) was a limited participant at Tuesday's practice, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

McCaffrey sat out two practices last week due to ankle and knee issues, but his status for the regular-season finale Sunday was never in question. Regardless of his level of practice participation the rest of the week, the 26-year-old should be on track to play in Saturday's wild-card matchup versus Seattle.
