  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Five offensive snaps in win

Kelley carried the ball two times for eight yards in Thursday's 30-27 win over the Raiders.

Kelley did next to nothing in this contest largely as a byproduct of just five offensive snaps. The return of Austin Ekeler and emergence of Kalen Ballage has made the rookie running back simply an afterthought, and it's hard to imagine that changing with just two games left to play, especially considering Kelley was a healthy inactive just one game prior.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Powers through hefty workload

Jacobs rushed 26 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and secured all three targets for 38 yards in the Raiders' 30-27 overtime loss to the Chargers on Thursday night.

Jacobs not only came into the critical divisional clash for the Raiders dealing with a nagging ankle issue, but he exited the game late in the fourth quarter to have his knee tended to. However, the second-year lead back quickly returned on the fourth play of Las Vegas' overtime-opening possession, logging six touches on a drive that culminated in a Daniel Carlson field goal. Jacobs' game-tying one-yard scoring leap in the third quarter served as his 10th touchdown of the season, while his yardage tally Thursday was his highest since Week 10 against the Broncos. He'll look to continue producing in a Week 16 battle versus the Dolphins on Saturday night, Dec. 26.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Garners 79 total yards in win

Ekeler (quadriceps) rushed 13 times for 60 yards and secured all four targets for 19 yards in the Chargers' 30-27 overtime win over the Raiders on Thursday night.

Ekeler still paced the Chargers backfield in rushing despite entering the game nursing the quadriceps injury, although he frequently had trouble finding running room against a Raiders defense that limited him to 33 yards on 12 carries outside of his team-high 27-yard rush. Ekeler also made his usual solid contributions through the air, recording multiple receptions for the fourth time in as many games since returning from a stint on injured reserve. However, it's worth noting Ekeler's single-game workload on the ground has been capped at 19 carries this season -- a figure he reached back in Week 1 -- and with Kalen Ballage, Joshua Kelley and Justin Jackson also on hand, that trend may continue during a Week 16 divisional battle versus the Broncos on Sunday, Dec. 27.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Back in action

Jacobs (knee) has returned to Thursday's game against the Chargers, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Jacobs barely spent any time on the sideline, as he retook the field in the middle of Las Vegas' first drive of overtime. With the Raiders still fighting for a tentative playoff spot and in a must-win scenario, and Derek Carr (groin) already out, Jacobs' return to the field will no doubt be invaluable.

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Injures knee Thursday

Jacobs (knee) is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Chargers.

Jacobs left late in the fourth quarter and isn't on the field to begin overtime. The second-year pro was previously managing an ankle issue, and now he's dealing with a knee injury in addition to that. Devontae Booker stands to see added work out of the Raiders' backfield if Jacobs can't return.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Seahawks' Travis Homer: Still not practicing

Homer (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Homer is almost exactly one month removed from his last appearance at practice (Nov. 18) as he's tended to wrist, thumb and knee injuries. Only the third issue continues to plague him, but there remains no end in sight to his recovery. If he takes a seat again Sunday at Washington, it'll mark his fifth consecutive absence.

  • Packers' Patrick Taylor: Back to practice

Taylor (foot) returned to practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Thursday's session marks Taylor's first practice activity since joining the Packers. He spent his entire rookie season on the non-football injury list due to a foot injury sustained back at Memphis. Green Bay will now have a 21-day window to monitor Taylor at practice without him counting against the active roster.

  • 49ers' Austin Walter: Shifts to COVID-19 list

The 49ers placed Walter on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Walter was placed on the list due to either testing positive for the virus, or coming into close contact with someone who did. Walter could still have a chance to play in Sunday's game against the Cowboys, but he'll need to produce two negative tests 24 hours apart to gain clearance.

  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Back in lineup

Kelley is active for Thursday's game against the Raiders, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Kelley was a healthy scratch for last week's win over the Falcons, but he'll return to the lineup for Week 15, taking the place of Justin Jackson. When Jackson suited up last week, he saw just two carries for eight yards, so it's unclear what sort of role Kelley will have in the offense. He'll join Austin Ekeler and Kalen Ballage as healthy running backs for the divisional clash.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Active for Thursday's game

Ekeler (quad) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Raiders.

Assuming no in-game setbacks, Ekeler is in line to continue to head the Los Angeles backfield Thursday, with Kalen Ballage and Joshua Kelley in reserve. In the team's 20-17 win over the Falcons this past Sunday, Ekeler logged 15 carries for 79 yards and caught all nine of his targets for 67 yards. With the Chargers' wideout corps banged up Thursday, look for Ekeler to continue to provide fantasy value in Week 15, thanks to his utility as a pass-catcher.
