Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Chargers' Nyheim Hines: Elevated for Week 7
The Chargers elevated Hines from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Hines will be elevated to the Chargers' active roster for a second straight week and will be available to play against the Colts, the team that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Hines primarily served on special teams during the Chargers' Week 6 win over the Dolphins, when he turned three kickoff returns into 97 yards. However, the veteran running back could be deployed out of the backfield to spell Kimani Vidal if Hassan Haskins (chest) is not cleared to play Sunday.

Terrell Jennings RB | NE
Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Elevated for Week 7
The Patriots elevated Jennings from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Jennings will be elevated for a second straight week and be available to play against the Titans on Sunday. He played seven snaps on special teams against the Saints in Week 6, and the 24-year-old running back will likely be limited to that role while TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson handle the work out of the backfield.

Ameer Abdullah RB | IND
Colts' Ameer Abdullah: Joins active roster
The Colts signed Adbullah from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Tyler Goodson (groin) has been ruled out, leaving the Colts in need of running back depth behind Jonathan Taylor and DJ Giddens. Abdullah was active in Weeks 5 and 6, logging a total of three carries for 13 yards and a touchdown, and he'll now have a permanent spot on the roster.

Sione Vaki RB | DET
Lions' Sione Vaki: Ruled out for Week 7
Vaki (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's matchup against Tampa Bay, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Vaki is set to miss his third straight game with the groin injury. He has been active only once this season, as he was sidelined by a hamstring injury earlier in the campaign.

Tyler Goodson RB | ATL
Colts' Tyler Goodson: Won't face Chargers
Goodson (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Goodson practiced in limited fashion Friday, but that won't be enough for him to take the field in Week 7. This will mark his third consecutive absence and leave DJ Giddens as the backup to Jonathan Taylor.

Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Packers' Pierre Strong: Elevated from practice squad
The Packers elevated Strong from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Strong caught on with the Packers' practice squad in early September after being let go by the Browns with an injury settlement. The 2022 fourth-rounder will be available to play against the Cardinals on Sunday and will provide the Packers backfield depth, as Josh Jacobs' status is up in the air due to a calf injury and illness.
-
Malik Davis RB | DAL
Cowboys' Malik Davis: Elevated for Week 7
The Cowboys elevated Davis from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Davis opted to stay in Dallas as a member of the team's practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. He'll be elevated to the active roster for the first time this season, and he will provide help on special teams and backfield depth behind Javonte Williams and Jaydon Blue for Sunday's NFC East tilt against the Commanders.
-
Ronnie Rivers RB | LAR
Rams' Ronnie Rivers: Elevated for Week 7
The Rams elevated Rivers from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Rivers was signed to the Rams' practice squad in late August after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Week 7 against the Jaguars marks Rivers' first elevation of the season, and he'll most likely see the field on special teams while serving as a backfield depth option behind Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and rookie fourth-rounder Jarquez Hunter.

Josh Williams RB | TB
Buccaneers' Josh Williams: Won't play against Detroit
Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lions, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Williams will remain in the league's concussion protocol, which will cause him to miss Monday night's road game. With Williams and Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) both ruled out, Rachaad White will lead the Buccaneers backfield while Sean Tucker serves as the backup running back and a return specialist. Williams' next opportunity to play is Week 8 against the Saints on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Bucky Irving RB | TB
Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Won't play vs. Detroit
Irving (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The announcement doesn't come as much of a surprise, given that Irving has been held out of practice while working through foot and shoulder injuries. In his absence, Rachaad White will continue to operate as the Bucs' lead option out of the backfield while Sean Tucker serves in a reserve role. Irving's next opportunity to play is Week 8 against the Saints on Sunday, Oct. 26.
