Tyler Badie RB | DEN
Broncos' Tyler Badie: Three touches in Week 2
Badie rushed once for three yards and caught both of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Colts.
Badie had a quiet game against Indianapolis, as he was targeted just two twice after seeing six targets in Week 1. The 25-year-old running back continued his role as the No. 3 back behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey, playing just 13 of the Broncos' 58 offensive snaps. With Dobbins and Harvey handling most of the backfield duties for Denver, Badie should be ignored for fantasy purposes based on his limited usage. The Broncos are set to visit the Chargers in Week 3.

LeQuint Allen RB | JAC
Jaguars' LeQuint Allen: Looks solidified as No. 3 RB
Allen rushed twice for 13 yards during Jacksonville's 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Allen took a step back to fellow rookie Bhayshul Tuten (eight carries for 42 yards, two catches for 32 yards and a score) in Week 2 after having handled more snaps than him Week 1. In the wake of Jacksonville trading Tank Bigsby, Tuten looks entrenched as the No. 2 man behind Travis Etienne, with Allen having lost out on the backup competition but still in line for opportunities for change-of-pace touches as the No. 3 man. The rookie seventh-round pick will work to keep making the most of his depth role Week 3 against the Texans.

Ollie Gordon II RB | MIA
Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Minor role in Week 2 loss
Gordon rushed once for eight yards and secured his only target for five yards during Miami's 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
Gordon was again relegated to a minor role behind starting RB De'Von Achane, even with Jaylen Wright (knee) sidelined a second straight week. With Wright seemingly a candidate to suit up Thursday night against the Bills in Week 3, Gordon's path to consistent offensive touches is only going to get cloudier. The rookie sixth-round pick's involvement could ramp up as the season progresses, especially if Miami's season goes completely off the rails, but for now Gordon isn't a consideration for weekly fantasy lineups.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Patriots' Antonio Gibson: Notches 90-yard TD on kick return
Gibson logged 10 of 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, carrying the ball five times for 27 yards and catching his only target for one yard.
Once again the veteran RB was out-snapped by both Rhamondre Stevenson (39) and TreVeyon Henderson (19), but Gibson made a huge impact in Week 2 with a 90-yard kickoff return TD in the fourth quarter that put New England in the lead. Though he's clearly a complementary backfield option, Gibson still carries some fantasy appeal in formats that value his contributions as a return man.
-
Trevor Etienne RB | CAR
Panthers' Trevor Etienne: Just two snaps in Week 2
Etienne caught one pass for two yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Cardinals.
Etienne has now played just four offensive snaps through two games this season but has recorded a touch on two of those opportunities. Even so, the rookie from Georgia's primary role appears to be as Carolina's top return man after tallying 101 total return yards on five attempts in Week 2. Etienne is expected to continue playing behind both Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle in the Panthers' backfield heading into Week 3, when the Falcons travel to Carolina.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Cowboys' Miles Sanders: Finds end zone Sunday
Sanders carried the ball five times for 15 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for four yards in Sunday's 40-37 overtime win over the Giants.
Javonte Williams had another big game as the lead back for the Cowboys, but Sanders scored his first TD of the season on a four-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. His usage in the red zone does give him some small bit of fantasy intrigue in deep formats, but as long as Williams remains healthy, Sanders' volume will be limited. Through his first two games with Dallas, he's managed 69 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches.

Kaleb Johnson RB | PIT
Steelers' Kaleb Johnson: Commits blunder on special teams
Johnson rushed once for one yard during Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Seahawks.
Johnson was on the field for just two offensive snaps for a second consecutive week. He played four snaps on special teams, but he didn't pursue a ball that bounced past him on a kickoff in the fourth quarter, which allowed Seattle to recover in the end zone for a touchdown. The 22-year-old showcased some promise during the preseason after being selected in the third round of this year's draft, but he hasn't had a role in Pittsburgh's offense behind Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell, and Johnson did little to instill confidence in Week 2.
-
Rico Dowdle RB | CAR
Panthers' Rico Dowdle: More touches in Week 2
Dowdle rushed six times for nine yards and caught his only target for 10 yards during Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Cardinals.
Despite Dowdle seeing a larger role than he did in Carolina's opener, he played just 29 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 2. The 27-year-old has struggled with efficiency through his first two games with the team, averaging only 2.3 yards on his nine carries. Starter Chuba Hubbard recorded 77 total yards and a touchdown on 15 touches in Sunday's loss, and Dowdle doesn't have a clear path to more volume heading into a Week 3 matchup against the Falcons.
-
George Holani RB | SEA
Seahawks' George Holani: Sticking to special teams
Holani returned five kickoffs for 133 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers.
Holani hasn't played an offensive snap through two weeks, but he continues to make an impact on special teams. As long as Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are healthy, Holani's role should remain the same.
-
Kenneth Gainwell RB | PIT
Steelers' Kenneth Gainwell: Tallies 36 yards
Gainwell rushed the ball five times for 20 yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Seahawks. He added three receptions on five targets for 16 yards.
Gainwell was out-touched 18-8 by Jaylen Warren, settling into a change-of-pace role in the Pittsburgh offense. Gainwell's most notable carry came late in the third quarter when he spelled Jaylen Warren near the goal line, but he was stuffed at the four-yard line. Gainwell will likely struggle to get enough volume to be fantasy relevant in most formats, particularly if Kaleb Johnson is able to emerge in the offense as the season progresses.
