Tyler Goodson RB | IND
Colts' Tyler Goodson: Questionable after full practice
Goodson (elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos after logging a full practice Friday.
Friday's full participation level suggests Goodson's trending in the right direction, but it remains to be seen if he'll be cleared to make his season debut Sunday. Once he's healthy enough to play, Goodson will compete with rookie fifth-round pick DJ Giddens for change-of-pace work behind Jonathan Taylor.

Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Listed as doubtful for Week 2
Wright (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
The Dolphins stopped short of ruling Wright out after he managed to practice on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, but it would be surprising to see him suit up Sunday. Ollie Gordon will likely work as De'Von Achane's primary backup for one more week, but Wright's return to practice bodes well for the 2024 fourth-round pick's chances of returning to action Thursday against the Bills in Week 3.

Roschon Johnson RB | CHI
Bears' Roschon Johnson: Cleared for return
Johnson (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Johnson was a full practice participant Friday for the first time since early August. It's unclear what kind of role he'll have, if any, in the Chicago offense for Week 1. D'Andre Swift handled an 81 percent snap share in Monday's loss to Minnesota but gained just 65 yards on his 20 touches.
-
James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Set for Week 2 action
Cook (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at the Jets.
Cook was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring issue, but a full walkthrough Thursday and uncapped session Friday has cleared him to handle his typical role as the Bills' No. 1 running back. In a season-opening win against the Ravens, he earned 56 percent of the offensive snaps and turned 18 touches into 102 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD, while reserve RBs Ray Davis and Ty Johnson combined for four touches for 25 total yards.

Quinshon Judkins RB | CLE
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Week 2 status TBD
Judkins is viewed as questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Ravens, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
In terms of Judkins' chances of suiting up versus Baltimore, coach Kevin Stefanski told Oyefusi on Friday, "We'll work through that over the next 24 hours. ... I do think he's in good shape." The Browns were granted a two-game roster exemption for the 2025 second-rounder ahead of Week 1, with Zac Jackson of The Athletic noting that the team has until Saturday afternoon to activate Judkins and make a corresponding roster move to pave the way for him to be able to play against the Ravens. If Judkins is active Sunday, he'd bolster a Cleveland backfield that was led last weekend by Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford.

Emanuel Wilson RB | GB
Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Works behind Brooks again
Wilson didn't record a carry or target and had a 27-yard kickoff return in Thursday's 27-18 win over the Commanders.
Wilson played just five snaps on offense, giving him seven through two weeks compared to Chris Brooks' 22 over that span. With Josh Jacobs seeing the vast majority of opportunities in Green Bay's backfield and Brooks next in line during MarShawn Lloyd's (hamstring) stint on IR, Wilson appears unlikely to contribute much this season.
-
Christopher Brooks RB | GB
Packers' Chris Brooks: Three catches in Week 2 win
Brooks didn't record a carry but caught three of four targets for 27 yards in Thursday's 27-18 win over the Commanders.
Brooks played 13 snaps on offense to Emanuel Wilson's five, suggesting the former has established himself as the top backup to workhorse Josh Jacobs, at least until MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) reenters the picture. Barring an injury to Jacobs, none of Green Bay's backup running backs will have much standalone fantasy value.

Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Trending toward another absence
Wright (knee) isn't likely to play Sunday against the Patriots, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Wright returned to a limited practice Thursday, but coach Mike McDaniel indicated Friday that the running back isn't likely to suit up this weekend. That said, McDaniel didn't completely rule out that possibility, so added clarity on Wright's Week 2 status will have to wait until Friday's final injury report. If he remains out versus New England, Ollie Gordon will continue to back up De'Von Achane, with Jeff Wilson and JaMycal Hasty candidates to be elevated from Miami's practice squad.

Raheim Sanders RB | CLE
Browns' Raheim Sanders: In line to be active
Sanders could be part of the active roster for Week 2 against the Ravens due to the unsettled status of Quinshon Judkins, who is still on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
Sanders, who was active in the 17-16 loss to the Bengals in Week 1, played only three snaps, but one of those was a one-yard touchdown plunge. He finished the game with three carries (two in the red zone) for three yards. Judkins missed all of the preseason and didn't sign a contract until the day prior to the season opener. He got on the practice field Thursday for the first time since mandatory minicamp in June and may not be up to speed for Sunday's game at Baltimore. The Browns were granted a two-week roster exemption for Judkins, so he won't count toward the roster if he remains held out Week 2.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Commanders' Austin Ekeler: Set for imaging Friday
Ekeler is set to undergo an MRI on Friday, but the Commanders believe that he suffered a torn Achilles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Ekeler suffered a non-contact right Achilles injury late in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Packers. If Friday's tests confirm the team's fears, Ekeler will be sidelined for the rest of the season. Rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt likely will see an increased workload, with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez vying for depth roles.
