Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Still not practicing
Taylor (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Taylor, who hasn't practiced or played since sustaining a right high-ankle sprain during Week 4 action, now has one more chance to log practice reps ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. If Taylor remains sidelined this weekend, Trey Sermon -- who returned to practice Thursday -- and Tyler Goodson would be in line to lead the Colts' Week 7 backfield, provided Sermon is available.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Browns' D'Onta Foreman: Logs limited practice
Foreman (groin) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
In this past weekend's 20-16 loss to the Eagles, Foreman logged 20 snaps en route to recording 31 yards on 10 carries and 16 yards on two catches. While fellow RB Jerome Ford -- who was limited to four snaps Week 6 after sustaining a hamstring injury -- didn't practice Wednesday, the Browns backfield for Sunday's contest against the Bengals is expected to be bolstered by the anticipated return of Nick Chubb (knee). In that context, Foreman, assuming his availability, would likely work in a timeshare that also would include Pierre Strong this weekend, regardless of Ford's status.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: No set snap count
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that there is no exact number of snaps or touches the team has set for Chubb (knee) in Sunday's game against the Bengals, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Chubb is set to play his first game since Week 2 of 2023 after sustaining multiple knee injuries and a lengthy rehab process. Despite what the coach's comments might suggest, it stands to reason that Chubb wouldn't be in line for, say, 20-to-25 opportunities in his first game back after a lengthy absence. Stefanski was more concerned about the entire offense, which has yet to reach 20 points or 300 yards in a game. Chubb can give the offense a jolt and ignite a dormant rushing attack. Moving the chains and extending drives would be a start. Cleveland owns the worst third-down offense in the NFL at a conversion rate of 19.2 percent.

Zamir White RB | LV
Raiders' Zamir White: Logs limited practice Wednesday
White (groin) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
White, who has missed two straight games, now has two more chances to upgrade his practice participation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. If he's able to return to action this weekend, he'll have an opportunity to reclaim a key role in the Raiders backfield. Even if White technically starts Week 7, he's still likely to share carries with Alexander Mattison, while third-stringer Ameer Abdullah remains on hand as a change-of-pace option.

MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Not ready to return to practice
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Lloyd (ankle) isn't ready to return to practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Lloyd had been eligible to resume practicing this week after missing the Packers' last four games while on injured reserve, but he isn't on pace to be activated in the minimum length of time. On a positive note, LaFleur said that the running back is "getting closer," so the rookie could be able to return to practice at some point next week. For as long as Lloyd is sidelined, Emanuel Wilson will be unchallenged as the No. 2 option out of the Green Bay backfield behind Josh Jacobs.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Vikings' Aaron Jones: Hamstring injury cited on report
Jones didn't practice Wednesday due to a listed hamstring injury.
The Vikings have been calling the health concern a right hip injury that forced Jones out of a Week 5 win against the Jets in London. He even told Alec Lewis of The Athletic on Wednesday that he felt the injury prior to that game before it flared up, resulting in an early exit. Jones intends to take part in practice Thursday, but so far the team is merely hopeful that he'll be available for Sunday's showdown versus the Lions, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com.
-
Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Texans' Joe Mixon: Logs limited practice
Mixon (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
In his return from a three-game absence in this past Sunday's 41-21 win over the Patriots, Mixon carried 13 times for 102 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 30 yards and another score on three targets. With no reported setbacks in that contest, Mixon's listed limitations Wednesday are most likely maintenance-related.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Vikings' Aaron Jones: Aiming for Thursday practice return
Jones (hip) said Wednesday that he hopes to practice Thursday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Jones was present for Monday's light practice after a Week 6 bye, but he didn't participate Wednesday and thus remains in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Lions. He said that he first noticed a problem with his hip while warming up prior to the Vikings' Week 5 win over the Jets, and he ended up missing the final three quarters of that game after aggravating the injury. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday that " [Jones] is going to progress throughout the week and hopefully has a chance to go on Sunday," per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Listed as limited in walkthrough
Cook (toe) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice.
Though Wednesday's session wasn't a standard practice, Cook's limited participation suggests that he's trending in the right direction after having missed Monday's 23-20 win over the Jets. Thursday's practice will provide added context regarding his status for this weekend's game against the Titans. If Cook remains out Sunday, Ray Davis would serve as the Bills' lead option on the ground.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Good to go for Week 7
Kamara (hand) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game versus the Broncos, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Kamara was listed as limited on all three of the Saints' Week 7 practice reports due to a hand injury, but it won't stop him from suiting up for a seventh game in a row to start the season. He's averaging 22 touches for 111 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring seven total touchdowns in six contests on the campaign. His workload shouldn't be affected by the potential season debut of second-year back Kendre Miller this week.
