McCaffrey (illness) is practicing Friday, Noah Furtado of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The illness apparently isn't serious, considering McCaffrey was a limited practice participant Thursday and is now practicing again Friday. He's on track to play Sunday against the Titans.

Homer (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Browns.

Despite upgrading from a DNP on Thursday to limited practice Friday, Homer won't be available for Sunday's contest. The 27-year-old is now in line to miss his seventh game of the season. With Homer ruled out, D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai are currently the only running backs on the Bears' active roster without an injury designation for the Week 15 matchup.

Chandler (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.

The 27-year-old practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday but remains on the injured reserve list, leaving his status for Sunday's matchup in question. The Vikings must activate Chandler to their active roster in order for him to suit up in Week 15. If activated in time, the North Carolina product will likely serve as one of Minnesota's top kick returners.

Johnson was elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to the active roster Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

With Terrell Jennings (concussion) set to miss the Week 15 divisional matchup against the Bills, Johnson's addition to the active roster provides New England with much-needed depth at running back. The 29-year-old has appeared in three games for the Patriots this season, rushing four times for seven yards. He's expected to play behind TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson on Sunday.

Jennings (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills.

Jennings remains in the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and could not practice in any capacity in preparation for Sunday's game. With Jennings unavailable, both Craig Reynolds and D'Ernest Johnson will be candidates to be elevated from the practice squad and provide backfield depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.

Neal (abdomen) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers while Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Neal will lead New Orleans' backfield in Kamara's stead for a third consecutive game. He practiced in full Friday after having kicked off Week 15 with back-to-back limited sessions. In his last two appearances combined, Neal racked up 153 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 37 touches. He'll work to make the most of his opportunities again during Sunday's home divisional matchup.

Jones (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Jones has been playing through the same shoulder injury since Week 9 while picking up a couple of other minor injuries along the way. It's only the shoulder impacting him at this point, and it's not enough to threaten his status for Week 15. Jones has 67 touches over the past five games, compared to 37 touches for No. 2 RB Jordan Mason.

Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Carolina.

Devin Neal topped a 70 percent snap share in both of the past two weeks while filling in for Kamara. The rookie should get a similar workload this Sunday, with Audric Estime and Evan Hull in reserve.

Kamara hasn't practiced since suffering an MCL sprain in Week 12. Devin Neal (abdomen) likely will fill in as the Saints' starting RB again this Sunday against the Panthers, after topping a 70 percent snap share in both of the past two games.

The Florida A&M product was unable to practice all week, so it's unlikely that he'll be able to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills. Both Craig Reynolds and D'Ernest Johnson are candidates to be elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to the active roster if Jennings is sidelined in Week 15 as expected.
